@gimmedavidb When he first came out, he would give his band a break at every show and play for 30 minutes or so just him and his guitar. He's gotten to big for all of that now.

wtf is he strumming for? i understand he can afford not to play, whatever that's worth. but why pretend? i am a fan, but when i saw this, it makes me think he is very insecure. he is not within 5 frets of playing the right chords. good song, but put the guitar down and just sing.
@7johnnyboy7 are we even watching the same video? he is playing guitar...He's not faking it, The thing is.... His guitar is usually just FLUFF in the sound, because the 2 other guitarists are playing the entire song and then he'll play along w/ them but he starts and stops he doesn't play through the whole thing.... Its well known that he's actually a pretty good guitarist..
@BoUnDnBrOkEn627 If you knew anything about guitar, you could tell that he is not even close to playing the right chords. The best argument is that he is playing 12th fret harmonics. That is all fine and good. If I made his kind of money, I would play it backwards if I wanted to. I'm just saying, why does he pretend. It is not "fluff" to play the wrong chords. I would bet that his sound was all the way down/off and he knew it. Otherwise, his fluff would be off key the way he is fingering it
@7johnnyboy7 Actually, i have nothing to do with his fan club... I never join any artists fan clubs because its just another way to take money from us for very few perks... But, Idk much about chords or anything like that, all i'm sayin is that usually he does play live, but you usually wont here his guitar specifically over the other ones...
@BoUnDnBrOkEn627 I've seen a lot of videos of kenny playing live and non of them look like he is actually playing. his guitar is never plugged in or has any evidence of that it's even connected wirelessly. him having a guitar i think is more of a comfort thing for some songs, helps keep the rythym and such. but it is pretty damn obvious he's not playing in this video. Covering the strings with all four fingers doesn't give it any sound, is not a chord, and is not "fluffing".

Sometimes i think he's actually plaing but they have him turned WAY down, or the sound is completely off for his guitar... Maybe like you said its a comfort thing... Which i don't get because he can play guitar so why do that..... Idk maybe because he stops playing quite a few times while singing the songs?

You must work for his fan club as a spammer, b/c you obviously don't know crap about guitar. KC is one of my favorite singers and I love that he is an East Tenn. boy like me.... BUT, a guitarist he is NOT. It's okay dude, we all still love him.

yea I was definately standing either right next to you or right behind you when he was performing this song...it was soooo incredible and I couldn't believe how close I was to him!!! He is so amazing!!! I even got one of the Kenny guitar picks that they threw out into the crowd...Such a good concert this year. Love the video :)

There are no drums, and if you listen very careful, you hear the strings "rattle", he's just creating some kind of rythm on his guitar here...

This acoustic version is beautiful. No horn section or other back up players like he has in his shows.
