very true ,but sometimes like i said it takes a greater mind to be able to withstand the pain and struggle of our people, furthermore we don't have to stoop down to their level thinking, they can do as they like but they will never achieve the world of freedom that we see today :) you're right when you said 10% is alright but as you can see we cannot go around and tell people to change their habits even if they hate us, as Ghandi once said :"through our pain the world will see our strength"
A man once said that Rosa Parks sat so Martin Luther King Jr could walk. And King walked so that Obama could run. Obama ran so that our children could fly!
People we keep talking about what's black and what's white. Let's not do that anymore. Let's move beyond that together as one. If Obama's said anything is his messages he's said CHANGE WE NEED. Indeed that day has come, and the only way to change is if everyone does it BOTH BLACK & WHITE.
this is so amazing but its to bad that mlk, harriet jacobs, rosa parks, harriet tubman, and malcom x ect... couldn't see this day but ino that there looking down and smiling because there dreams came true so god bless the obama family but also bless everyone around the world there dreams and other peopls dreams came true and hopefully this will keep going love peace and happiness
All, keep in mind that most African Americans have first-hand experiences of these injustices (or second-hand thru an immediate family member). I marched, I sat, I felt the hose, I cried and I still cry. Some wounds are still raw. This IS our history as painful as it is!
Forgive, absolutely. Forget, impossible.
Encouraged and grateful, yes. Because, for me, the election of President Obama demonstrated that most Americans of ALL RACES have embraced tolerance. Change has truly come to America!
why is this marked as spam,he's right, here in europe everyone keeps talking bout obama being black, but that's not the reason he won, white people voted for him not because he is black but because of what his plans are.because if he was trying to win just by getting black people to vote on him he would've ha dno change
im tired of these cracks cuming on here leaving sum shit maybe yall need to watch dis video back over to see wat blacks went im so glad dat im free and that obama proved that blacks can be much more so fuck jimmy cracka
fuck all who have a negative opinion because we have a BLACK president ,its been a long time coming like sam cooke sang ,and fuck that 43 white motherfuckers was our leaders in this nation, with the exception of lincoln, jfk, reagan, and clinton, fuck the rest of them cause they helped bring us apart instead of together, why, because the color of our skin?no its our time, suck on that!!!
aww come on,.. im black too, but as people, we have too learn to be forgiveful sometimes humans are the superior when we learn to forgive, i know what happened to our people was cruel but sometimes it takes the greatest heart to forgive one another, peace is the way to go, it starts with us, why leave it to the leaders?:)
i would love to be forgivefull but it's hard if you see that 90% of white people are racist (not hardcore but still theres maby 10% that really see's us as aqual's because even people that say they aren't they still look down on us,sometimes even without noticing it theirselves )

I agree with you...Forgiveness is the process of ceasing to feel resentment, indignation or anger for an offense. For me, forgiveness is not related to the person forgiven...it does not excuse their wrongdoing. I understand it is difficult, but it allows me to overcome, feel proud, move forward, rebuild. grow and learn despite the offense. ;-)
exactly thats the way to go, thats what im talking about, what has done is done, we can't undo the past, but only live through its sorrows, but instead od doing that why we learn to start get along, after all we're all the same thing called the human race:)
It's not about obama it's about what his political image will mean for black men and children who are disadvantaged in america as well as other sectors who are non black that face the same challenges... so dont take it personal on obama.. this message and video is bigger than him as a person, it's what message it says about our times and generations
jimmycracka, I see that everyother day you feel the need to come here and post more of your crap. I find this funny how now all of a sudden since it's a black man that it's the end of the country. We've had 43 presidents before and all the crap that you speak of happend on their watch so if anybody needed to wake up it was all of you not us. So please stop trying to rain on our parade hater. Everytime that we gather and try to better ourselves as a people theses hoes wanna start some shit.
