Not as bad as the Collins or Gabriel hacks would lead you to believe, and not as good as the Wilson fans think. I like it, but it lacked the warmth of Gabriel or Collins Genesis. I'm one of the rare Genesis fans that really loves the Gabriel and Collins eras. Wilson actually sounds like Gabriel to a point, but lacks the range.

The intro to me sounds a lot like some of Tony' Banks'' solo stuff. Then it has that gurgling guitar sound that was Rutherford's trademark.

Surely is 10,000 times better than the ugly "Invisible Touch" in its globality.

This song and The Dividing Line are my two favorite songs by Ray Era Genesis, only my opinion but there is not another song by Ray that can touch these two.. Congo may be closest though..

I think this is a great song. Genesis should have made another album with Ray and have this song as the single. I think it would have been recieved well. This is a radio friendly song.

this is better than half the tunes on the album, especially better than if that's what you need and small talk.

I listen to this, anything now, sign you life away and run out of time and I think Mike and Tony were stupid not to put them on the album in place of some of the others.

@SPeacock I understand. I think Calling All Stations was a very well created progressive rock album. It's just that it didn't get any chance to breathe. And I think Ray and Steve both played very important roles in Genesis history.
