Creaky Macbook Hinge

mine had this problem. Open and close the lid quickly 10-15 times, should fix the problem. The hinge is self lubricating...

Use some Remoil on those hinges, it is more viscous than WD-40 and has Teflon.

that is not nearly as bad as my macbook. i have tried tightening/loosening my screws near the hinge and it has not helped and i am afraid WD-40 will ruin my laptop.
