@solidheir apparently someone is a little sensitive. I love music for the sake of music; for creativity and expression; and every now and again you can finally share with a complete stranger a sense if solidarity in this enjoyment.
One, I am an artist in many different ways and just like you have your opinions I have mine. No on asked you to read my comments nor take them personally. Apparently you don't read with understanding. You read with negativity and bias.
i is hi, and yall is freaking me out. i ams boppin my head to this song n i look down to see all this ugliness. i like this music. so keep on fighting n ill keep on bumpin.
Dubstep is guys like Kode9 & and the Digital Mystikz, Skream & Benga (pre-2006 era).
Deep subby sparse minimal.
I mean it's good to have separation imo, just keeps shit in my 14 day long iTunes library in order. But I think people hating on tunes just because they fall into a bracket is stupid. I'd call it brostep, but when guy's like skrillex & datsik are making tunes I'm not listening to brostep, I'm listening to music.
@mantelpiece100 I never respond in an ignorant manner. I think you and the one who said "niggaz gotta get paid" are interpreting my comment the same way. Simply put. I prefer underground but don't knock the talented mainstream artists who have made it. I loathe music snobs because they think they set the standard for what is good music.

I was making these sounds on my Playskool keyboard back in the late 80's..Nothing new here..The more i listen to this music and this man, i think about suicide..Not much talent..But you don't need much to make millions today..
he has to be one of the best producers ever and every time i hear another one of his tracks they just get better and better u can just put a good pair of head phones on and drift away and u always here something new if u replay it
I've listened to this track over and over again. I just can't hear the beat, and i don't get why everyone hypes it up so much. To me it's got nothing on Footnotes, Postpone etc...
@Oneofthedawnchorus WTF? you don't like his music yet you keep listening? you are just a glory hunter..you don't even like him . You just want to follow the crowd. As for me fuck this music..first time listening to this guy and last. shitty music. Stop being a follower and listen to an artist cause you like him/her not b.c people are saying good things about him .
I saw this guy 'perform' last night in Glasgow, all i can say is that it was 15 minutes of my life that i am never getting back and I am angry about that.
I genuinely feel that the crowd were politely applauding,, probably out of confusion. the unnatural gaps between the end of the songs and the audience response was testament to that. I did hear a couple of folk, say, 'what the f*ck is going on here?'
what the fucking shit???????!! another song of him with no words?????!!!!! T^T boring...how can you enjoy this?? i want something to sing along!!!!!!!
sweet song. This isn't spam, but I'm an 18 year old producer and singer who directs and records his own videos, and I would appreciate it if anyone could check out my latest video here: /watch?v=dSMq5J9EQXs My style is somewhat similar to James', so if you like this, check out my stuff. Much appreciated :)
I don't get people who comment on these vids just to hate, how the fck did you wankers get here in the first place if you aren't in to this dude or his music...
oh all the music snobs out there are so irritating. I love underground most but I don't trash the true talent that made it to mainstream because ultimately most of these artist hope to make money off of what they love...if they tell you it is about sharing their creativity they are lying to you and themselves.
@hiitomisedai it's better to be a man of value than a man of fame and sometimes the masses aren't ready to appreciate true talent. They are not musically educated and they are manly influenced by aggressive marketing strategies. There are some good talent in the mainstream, but the REAL, innovative, creative, forward-thinking, decomplexed music comes, born's, grow's from the underground, where artist are free to make the most intimate, expressive and financial unattached music.
@hiitomisedai music snobs or any kind of snobs are very often irritating, for sure. even though, there's some truth in what some of them say... mainstream is mostly about pleasing people to make money, and some of the mainstream artists nowadays just produce music for consumption..
@kouprianoff not to put myself in the snob group, but id say theres a difference between music as a product to cater to a demographic and music as an artistic expression of a feeling or intended to inspire a feeling. once you see that line it can be difficult not to trash SOME mainstream stuff.
mainstream artists don't make millions anymore. Not everyone can be beyonce. James Blake will never get to that stage.
He's doing what he loves and even if he can make a living off of it then good for him.. If he made a few good songs which meant a lot to him and no one heard him do you think he or anyone else would keep writing more music? Its rare, but then we wouldn't even get a chance to hear these marvellous artists
@hiitomisedai It doesn't have to be one or the other. It's about making money while doing what you love AND sharing it with as many people as possible...
@hiitomisedai So you are saying if any artist tells you their aesthetic reason for making music 'is about sharing their creaitivty ' then they are lying? You are NOT an artist clearly and have very naive views on the music industry and capitilsm in general. I mean you're slandering supposed 'music snobs' when you are more full of shit than most people commenting on hear. Seriously take a good long look at how you see the world before throwing down some premature views on how we should see it.
this is wierd. I dont like it. and no I don't like pop and I'm not one of the those people who are ignorant to other forms of music, this is just kind
I don't consider this a song. It's more like … Something that happens inside your mind. I mean … it's weird :o It's almost like every sound hits me somewhere inside my mind. It feels very nostalgic for some reason.
@MrOceanPenguin Some music isn't for 'active listening' imo. You listen to this while you browse ffffound.com or something, or draw or write. I think it sort of augments whatever you are doing, or perhaps it could accompany a wandering state of mind..
@PERSONIFICATIONOFYAY I fully agree. The Wilhelm Scream is another fantastic song that has definitely bumped him out of the obscure and into undeniable talent.
@MrTKizzO Thank you! That fucking BBC list is a waiting curse. I really hope he doesn't explode to mainstream. I've been a fan of his for a while and if this gets big then other artists will get saturated by cretins that want to hype up the next "big thing".
I want him to be recognized, but I might be selfish in saying by his fans and people who appreciate rather then getting featured on crappy British TV shows then becoming the IT artist of the year.
People people people... And their shitty opinions.
