Dubstep is guys like Kode9 & and the Digital Mystikz, Skream & Benga (pre-2006 era).

Deep subby sparse minimal.

I mean it's good to have separation imo, just keeps shit in my 14 day long iTunes library in order. But I think people hating on tunes just because they fall into a bracket is stupid. I'd call it brostep, but when guy's like skrillex & datsik are making tunes I'm not listening to brostep, I'm listening to music.

They are not musically educated and they are manly influenced by aggressive marketing strategies. There are some good talent in the mainstream, but the REAL, innovative, creative, forward-thinking, decomplexed music comes, born's, grow's from the underground, where artist are free to make the most intimate, expressive and financial unattached music.
