The GOSPEL means good news.. the good news is not that we can be happy from families and becoming gods... but the good news is that we are all sinners and it is impossible for us to not deserve hell... and Jesus drank the cup of wrath meant for US! And we dont deserve it. Mormonism blatantly teaches against what Jesus taught and did. Just because he's in the title doesnt mean he is in the church.

I remember as a faithful LDS noticing after weeks in church that I hadn't heard a single person mention Christ except for the mandatory "in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen" at end of prayers, a talk or testimony. I then started listening every week for about the next 2 months for someone to actually speak of Christ. Finally did hear it after about 2 months. After that, it was still a rare event.
