Ah, Ron. I fucking love that guy. Been into him since way before the Guns gig. Anyone who's ever been around him knows how kind he is. I went to a clinic of his years ago and at the end of it, I gave him a silver Sharpie to sign a guitar of mine with. He used it to sign other stuff, too, which was totally fine; he could keep it! Well, I had to leave while he was still signing, so just as I started my car, Ron comes running outside and gives me the fucking Sharpie back! I'll never forget that. =)

Ron is nice and skilled, not such an attention poser like DJ Ashtray. You know why Alice In Chains soundchecking in the background are so much more compelling than this interview? Because Jerry Cantrell only needs three chords to accomplish what it takes GN'R three guitarists to not accomplish. GN'R is just one sad affair nowadays. The tour is a cash crab, the setlist sucks, Axl is using playback and has obviously become an alcoholic. No one in this band gives a fuck anymore why should the fans?

@whytele Comparing a generic overrated player like Cantrell to BBf is like comparing shit to solid gold. Ron, Mattias IA Eklundh and Guthrie Govan are the players who are setting the tone. Disagreeing is letting cheap popularity and ignorance prevail over real quality.
