yet another cool review man,well done.what scale is it in bike mode?.if it is 1/18 scale i will dfo get it as i have 3 1/18 scale bikes...honda crf 450r and xr 400r and yamaha ttr250 and all 3 have star wars biker scout figures on them,they fit so well if you didnt know any better you would swear they were made to fit the bikes so if this is the same scale i will have yet another dirt bike for my imperial troops

Great reviews as always buddy. I'm going crazy here in California man! I cannot find this guy, Thundercracker, Wheeljack, Scourge, Warpath and Perceptor at any of the retail stores. Any suggestions other than paying crazy prices online? :)

Hey man, thanks for the reply. I was able to find them all on Entertainment Earth and ordered them. They came out to $15 a figure and that includes tax and shipping ($15 off $99 coupon code 2101112). :) No more driving around searching and wasting gas that's $5 a gallon. :) The only thing is I can't visually inspect them to see which ones have better paint jobs etc (Hasbro quality issues), but it's okay. I'm done! HAHA

I finally found this guy on retail today and picked him up :) The card packaging on all the Wreck-Gars were badly creased , but I didn't mind. As a Junkion, wrecked packaging seems fitting.

I realized today that Wreck-Gar's color scheme is very similar to that of Wolverine's old costume (brown and tan). Their attributes are also similar since they both have regenerative powers and wield bladed weapons. I've also seen many pictures of Wolverine on a motorcycle. Sounds like a likely team-up :)

I got him at TRU @ Robinson's Galleria. Its worth having the patience and wait for it to hit retail. This is a superb figure. Great silhouette; good paint apps and color; and for a bikeformer he's surprisingly tight at the joints. Excellent for poses. I can't wait for his repaint! Maybe I'm gonna go and hunt for the TF United 3 Pack for Scrapheap and a bonus Kup.

Thanks 4 the Review. I bought mine this week. Love the robot mode. My only gripe with the motorcycle mode is that his arms don't snap in together and also the front part doesn't hold together as I hoped it would just snap in place. It tends to peg or come out. Also the cycle mode tends to lean towards the right because of that problem.

I've been a subscriber for a while, but I wanted to say I like your reviewing style, because you start with bot-mode and then go to alt-mode. It helps for mechanically-challenged people such as myself.

About a week ago, I transformed him from alt to robot, but then tried a few days ago to transformer back to alt-mode, and I was stumped.

But, I knew I could come here to check out the reverse transformation!

actually it's the first time i bought a toy from r-toys since they gave me a sweet deal with rts wreck gar and bumblebee, but usually i go around shopesville or babes toystore (in front of ace) to get a good deal. but with your help i'll get my stuff from rtoys regularly :) planning to get the appendage kit for superion and bruticus probably next month.... ....if they give me a good deal lol

Yeah, we were fortunate to get the first Generations and PCC transformers early, and the subsequent waves have been promptly released. But RTS is rare, and I've not seen a single deluxe figure of that line in any comic book or department store.

BTW, acknowledging parents buying Wreck-Gar for their kids was a nice touch. That was really thoughtful. Nice one!

i see. i'm sure the RTS figures will be there soon. as of this post, wave 1 RTS figures are just hitting retail over here, so i'm sure they're not far behind in your area.

yeah, thanks :-) it's coz i've met some parents (just randomly) over the Christmas season (2010) as i was doing my toy shopping and some were really asking the store merchandisers, whether some of the TF figures were worth giving. staff usually just want to sell stuff and will say yes to any figure

No worries. Advising the parents is a really good idea:) I appreciate that most Transformers are more detailed and sophisticated nowadays. But lately I've been wondering if young children (Hasbro's main market segment) would find them too complicated. Even I myself (an adult) struggled with the new legends Starscream at first.

yeah, sometimes i feel that many figures are really for collectors and for people who grew up in the 80s. but hasbro as a lot of TF figures series for varying ages, and i'd like to think that most kids nowadays are smarter than parents like me :-) my daughter solves puzzles way faster than me, and she's just 2 and a half!

Love the Nostalgic Effect brought by Wreck Gar and other Toys from the Generations line, I was not born in the 80's but i watched the entire g1 cartoons, and the movie. I love how Hasbro/Takara is doing right now, remolding these 80's figures and still retain some of their original designs...
