Pure PS3 on 32 inch Samsung crt hdtv

3d sucks, it gives you a headache in 30 minutes.LCD is inferior to crt hdtv on motion flow in gaming. LCD has too much lag for a true gamer.

Lag for CRT is ZERO

Lag for Plasma is .001ms

Lag for LCD is 5ms at best

Best HDTV were Sony 32 and 37 inch CRT HDTV

@3029dz The only problem I could see for a CRT HDTV is over-scanning, where the entire picture might not entirely fit and cut some parts on the left and right edges.

I got PS3 with GT5 when it came out. all I have to say now is that... the resolution worked perfectly.. so my problem solved! :D

@xxWWExFANATICxx  I've noticed that a lot of LCDs just look flat next to a CRT. And few LCDs can do blacks with any justice. (Just take a night shot movie, and watch it in a dimly lit room)

Bro do not ever think of selling this tv because it is wonderful, she is very good, I say this because this TV is better than any LCD and LED if you plug it into an LCD or LED you will see that the image quality will get much worse than its CRT HDTV. in your crt hdtv the picture is sharp but smooth-textured and less jaggies in LCD TVs and led the picture is sharp but gets ugly textures, and with much jaggies.

yo, I have a Samsung 32inch HD tv sorta like this one. I pirchased it in 2008. it has max output of 1080i. other TV's CLAIM they support 1080i/p but have a max reso of 578 or something. on the xbox it shows 1920x1080i when I press info on the tv remote. I knwo this soudns silly but I ABSOLULTELY want to be sure that the PS3 will run on my TV. thanks. umm.... yeah, my TV is like yours. you running at 720?

@scratrulz I have a Mitsubishi 37" XC-3730c from 1996. It doesn't have a tuner, just RGB inputs. I guess it will do 1280 x 1024 @ 75 Hz (might be able to fudge 1080p if you drop the Hz) and yeah, its a CRT

@scratrulz I've had it about 2 years now. My 29" 1024X768 CRT HDTV conked out for the 2nd time and wasn't ready to pay $200 to fix it again. I found this one online, it was one of those trade show units in a road case and got it for a decent price and had it shipped via freight. I have a LG LST-3100A pushing OTA HDTV to it (I squish the picture, and after a couple days, don't even notice it), and have a line doubler pushing everything else to it.

Do you still like that tv. I could get a Toshiba 30HF86C for very cheap. IT is ann hd crt. I plan to use it with my xbox. I just wonder if the image will look as good as on a new lcd or pc monitor

i got a Lg 5000 lcd full hd 1080p 24p..with auto enviroment contrast and all that bullshits...and the new xd engine...that can upconvert signals to progressive.-..for 650 euro...main reason is that i was going for the 50" but they did not have it..and i got this model at the price of the model under this..they fucked up with about 700 euro´s...

For blu rays you need 1080P tvs to get the full experience because blu rays don't even run in 720P it's 480i/p 1080i/p and trust me i'd rather watch 480P than 1080i interlaced is not true HD

Good condition, last's long, best sound ever, best picture quailty...

that's about $640 dollars.

I would reconemned getting an HD CRT and day over a LCD. I got recently a Samsung 650 LCD tv and its Rabbish for gaming. Metal Gear solid 4 look like an Aqua color throughout play. Rubbish Bring back CRTs.

Plasma beats lcd anyday as well.

ours has auto brightness so don't need a bright lcd.

I have a lcd and it's hard to see sometimes. The darker colours, plasma is better for me.

yeah, compared 720p to 1080p in sony vegas.

1080p is only really good for picture viewing, 720p for video/gaming.
