Isn't there any toll free number that has a "dial # for this, dial # for that" etc menu that you could have called to demonstrate this instead of the account balance text thingy?

I don't know why people persist in showing how to manually install packages, completely bypassing the automated installation system that will manually handle all of this.

This is the hard way to do it that is likely a source of problems and confusion.

The automatic method is not that good ppl dont know what they are installing this is more informative and make newbies study how to use X-terminal . Rather than bricking their phone by enabling extras devel catalogues :)
