As Argentinean and Les Luthiers' fan I want to congratulate you for this excellent version of "Kathy, La Reina del Saloon". I've really enjoy it. Bravo !!
@marians95 He was video recording. He zoomed in on the score so that he would know what the tune was when he posted his video of it. That man is YouTuber "verybigrifle". I'm pretty sure he did post his video of this performance too, but his camera's audio quality isn't as good (dynamics are lost).
yeeeeeah! Few days ago I started to watch Tom playing some video game tunes, and now this! It's great! Btw, Les Luthiers are really hilarious, some kind of English comedy, but a bit different, always mixing with music. They are really smart writers!
"Kathy, la reina del saloon" or "Kathy, the saloon queen", but there is a lovely joke in the title of this rag. When in english you say "Kathy", we, in spanish, hear something like "Casi" = "almost". So, if you translate the title will be "Almost the saloon queen"
This composition belongs to the best Spanish-language comedy group called Les Luthiers , is a set of informal instruments who was born in Argentina in the 60's and have over 43 years of success. As this composition can be seen much more, all they do is great and unique. Greetings from Argentina.
Thanks, you have to understand exactly what the characters do for a living, and the plot. It's unclear, one of the many reasons that I'm rewriting the script. It's a difficult story to set up the way I want it, but I'll figure it out.
Like I said previously, that version of the script I sent you was really terrible, unclear, and too abrasive. By stage parts I'm refering to acting parts in the sketch that they wrote. Go on ahead and record what I sent you so I have another option. I'm still looking for a good voice.
@lbrown21494 Surely if they wrote the script, they're giving themselves the acting parts. I don't quite follow. Still, I'll try to remember to sit down and record it this week.
Hey Keeper, Is this piece in the Public Domain? I'd love to use it on my show, which is going smoothly. I'm rewriting script one because it was absolutely horrible. Any progress on your voice audition? Or was the dialouge I sent you too horrible? :).

How can that guy below not like this piece? I thought it was awesome. anyway... I'm sure you get a buttload of requests for peoples favorites heres mine. CHOPIN.

@lbrown21494 Oh, I have to get around to recording that. One line I don't understand -- "stage parts"? You mean stage time? or what?
This tune would not be PD, no... though the composer himself has a video on YouTube of himself playing it, I've noticed.

@Mrunknown194 Whoops! That's right! You told me this, but I forgot. I only remembered that you were from Chile. I'll fix it...

@Keeper1st Thanks for fixing.
Also, you said the music sheet was not well done. I f you're interested, I have a Sibelius file with it.

@fr3d420 Do a search for "Chopin's Knocked Urn". Tom doesn't play it, but Max is just as spectacular.
