@onesexymonkeyful thanks. it's a poem i wrote entitled " hampton ".i drew my inspiration from a summers weekend when i went to hampton beach as a kid. upon hearing this song, i can't help but be transported to that weekend, i can't put my finger on why this song has that effect, but a human heart is a complex organ and not easily understood. i suppose i could have used sea grass,but that would not accurately capture the angst.as sea glass remains stagnant in incessant loneliness for centuries.

live is been one of the most Amazing band that has been around since the early 90's and one of the most strongest rock bands that had ever grace us with the most powerful songs that they have play for us. there words and sound made us believe that where there is love there is hope in keeping it and worth fighting for it but where there is hate we keeping learning from it and not over come our life with it theres more love then hate. and thats what live taught all how too keep our love strong.

My 6 years lasting love affair ended the same day I finished my mandatory military service. It broke my heart. I was accepted to the Maryland University's european branch in Heidelberg, but I left Finland and joined French Foreign Legion just to get away from everything. Served 10 years there, and felt nothig, that would even remotely remind me of being in love. This song is a bittersweet reminder of what I have missed. Hopefully I'll find love again. Atleast I have found my love for music.

I cannot say enough about the alternative - underground - or whatever sound this is! This whole time period of songs by Live , Bush, Crash Test Dummies, Alice In Chains, and so many other groups that I'd love to mention just rocks and soothes me at the same time!
