Very impressive. Although this isn't the first LEGO Cable Car (i.e. the one in the San Francisco model at Legoland California), I do believe it is the first to use the true "cable" method for power. Very very very cool!
Excellent job. 5*. Very realistic. If this is still built then you could use the Lego 2*4 rubber blocks for the emergency brake. (They fit onto regular 2*4 bricks)
This Lego model is wonderful- all the little bits and pieces- But! Oh, no- the grunge music. The music ruins it. Please, a peaceful, tranquil theme as the trolley car rolls down the road making everyone happy

Really nice man. I plan to build a SF stile trolly some time, mine would be much simpler though. Wouldn't run on mindstorms, just powered by a cable.
