@AwesomeAlvin I've read it and yes it does make very interesting reading. I think I agree mostly with Tatiana Tarasova's comments about them burying Plushenko in the short programme. He should have had at least a 3 or 4 points lead after the short, which would have been enough for him to win overall. I also agree that Johnny Weir was under marked.

@npe1 Yea I agree as well. Well we all know that Plushenko is the King, and Lysacek would just live on as the man who ruined figure skating.

And dispite being Canadian, and from Chinese origin. I do have to say Chan was way over judged, something was going on to try to bump up the Canadian and Americans.

There was definitely over marking of North American skaters - Jeremy Abbott had a nightmare skate but they marked him above people like Javier Fernandez, Artem Borudulin, Michal Brezina and Adrian Shultheiss who all were so much better. The only North American they marked down was Johnny Weir (homophobia?).

Yes Chan did not have a good skate at Olympics and was over marked. No way was he better than Weir. However, in World's 2011 Chan was in a class of his own.

@EnglishRose719 Is good if you know, Evan is Oly champ only for Americans, the rest of the world Evgeni is the Oly champ in Vancouver. He had some really hard day in Vanc. He is a sincere man, he talk of his opinion. But he got many support from all over the world. The american media was disgusting. We know from americans who were indignant because of attacks. Media wanted to prove the good boy won, the bad boy(who is russian) lost. You should know the whole story not only the end of the story.

I give MUCH more credit to an athlete that is amazingly talented but doesn't flaunt it openly as a taunt to other competitors, I think it's disrespectful, childish and very poor sportsmanship.

@EnglishRose719 Uhh! This is what I'm talking about. You know only the end of story. Before Vancouver he got many attack. They were simply afraid him. Do you know about Mr Inman's letter? This was an unethical thing, in Eu was big scandal! In short program he was robbed. Two judges(i think american and canadian) put him 22-23. place in skating skills. The defending Oly Champ!!! They simply humiliated him. And if you quote exactly he said: "my enemies"!!! He sent a message to his enemies!

"I suppose Evan needs a medal more than I do" You can challenge judges without being nasty about it Apolo Ohno was unfairly disqualified but left it at nothing more than a gracious disagreement with the judges and that he was disappointed, no personal blows toward the winner.

I'm sorry, but i agree with Plu "If the Olympic champion doesn't know how to jump quad now it's not figure skating it's ice dancing." The current Oly Ch isn't the top of own sport. In the male FS need the quad. After Oly the ISU was under high pressure, increased the value of the quad. Plu didn't lose any fans, i know many peoples celebrate and support him.
