So, an interestingly coincidental story:

4 years ago, an old roommate and I were talking about that old British comedy gag where crazy music starts playing, there's a chase scene, and suddenly a gorilla shows up. 2 years ago, I saw V for Vendetta wherein a similar chase scene happens on Stephen Fry's talk show. I wanted to find the origin of this gag, but was unsuccessful. I finally found it today and kicked myself for not remembering that you'd used it on this clip.

That's the story.

I love the part where you think you've finally gotten the ice beam, and all you have to do is roll over to it and get it, and then, Presto! you fall through a hidden crumbly block trap like a doofus. Priceless.

I must say that's one of the coolest rooms (Ice Beam) I've ever seen in a super metroid hack. Took me a while to grab it!

Your commentary's pretty good. I loved the use of Yakety Sax too (Yakety Sax is to videos as mayo is to sandwiches... it makes any one better, no matter what you put it to). I'd recommend not using the heavy metal background music though, I've found it distracting as I've watched this series.

I have no clue what's up with this rom hack and its meaningless dead ends and stuff like that. It's fun to watch though.
