yeah, but i always imagined it as a huge room that looks all padded kinda like a psycho ward room but 10x bigger and yellow! lol, random, and i imagined the stars just big cardboard boxes hanging from the ceiling! lol! anyways, that book is MY FAVORITE!

I always imagined the battle room having clear walls, being blacked out, with geometrically placed handholds throughout, which could be avoided if you slid along the wall at the right angle. And yeah, I always though of the "stars" as kid-sized cubic boxes.

this would be sick to use halo because it closely resembles enders game well its war type phelosphy this could be great the books great also maybe if u used halo3 to use the map maker you could make an easier say battle room area but great idea

i loved the book. the commercial is short and cool except for the time. 2100s not 2050, 2070, 2080 because if you read and pay attention to the book, the third invasion takes place seventy years after the second invasion. i'm just a kid so i'm surprised that not everyone has been paying attention to the book

The Book actually NEVER gives you a start year so even though it says 70 years after for 3rd we don't have a start point to know what year it takes place.

closest thing to a date is1180BSC when ender killed speaker for the dead takes place in 1948SC

SC is counting from the year the starways code was formed, but who knows when that is....also i think i just found out a minor inconsistency. according to Jane, Ender was born 3081 years ago, in speaker for the dead, since its the year 1948SC that would put the time he was born 1133BSC, and he destroyed the buggers in 1180BSC putting him at age 47 when he did so. strange indeed hah.

the movie rights are actually available to Ender's Game, but um, its been in production for over 10 years- its not gunna happen-this is one of the better teaser trailers that i've seen though- if it was for fun then you have a talent for editing, but if it was for a school project or anything i think that you should have definitely received a good grade.

Actually, The first invasion WAS a scouting party, but the DID in fact attack the planet.(Shadow of the Giant) The second invasion was more of an actual war, where Rackham unkowingly killed the queen rendering the drones "stupified" (Ender's Game). The "Third" invasion was the Internation Fleet attackng the Formic home planet where all the queens were located. (Ender's Game)

Unless you intended those ships to be of human origin and the planet to belong to the buggers. But even then, there would not be a lot of explosions on the surface. The planet itself was destroyed instantaneously.

But I take into consideration that this is a trailer for a movie. And Hollywood is open to take certain creative liberties. So in the movie, perhaps they do invade Earth directly.

The Buggers never came to Earth, if I remember correctly. First Invasion: They destroyed a ship that belonged to us, assuming that we too had a "hive mind" and that individual lives were of no importance to us. Second Invasion: Was basically a big battle between Buggers and Humans that took place somewhere in our solar system. Then we went over there and destroyed their planet.

No, in the second invasion, the Formics were basically tearing the humans up, until the battle where Rackham just flew straight for the queen.

The "First Invasion" was a scouting team. Upon no return of scouting team, Formics sent a larger force, thinking the humans were really tough animals.

just one mistake, the first invasion was intended to be a colonization, thats why they had a QUEEN with them, n how rackhem destroyed themn, by killing the queen, it was not in actually a scouting team

That was the second, if I remember right, but I can go back to the book and check it. As my admittedly foggy memory recalls, the first invasion was repelled by normal troops after very tough fights.

But there's also the possibility that the second invasion needed the queen because there was a larger force and needed to be more effectively controlled.
