erm... you've got something wrong here... do you mean the TV opening or the one from the movie? The one from the movie has been translated. The TV opening's lyrics have nothing to do with the original. The german TV lyrics are horrible and the dub isn't a bit better. This opening here is pretty good, but still funi's dubs haven't been great at all. Neither the original or the remastered dub really represents the original. It's the same in Europe (except Italy).

Because the beginning opening was singing by some else. And the end tune don't look the same sound, there was no any sound only instrument dub. The one from Canadian blue ocean water will be stay the best and japanish that is number 1. En there were no japanish letters by the one from Canada the blue ocean water studio will be stay forever number 1, the could better releases but the one from fun animation is stupid!

If this opening sounds "gay" to anyone, then just listen to the original Japanese Dan Dan opening then press audio on your remote to quickly change to the english dub afterwards if you can't stand the Japanese voices (I've lost count how many dbz noobs have complained about Goku's voice).

Just be grateful that Funimation is putting out this anime in great quality, and for getting a decent english intro instead of Wu-Tang-Clan wannabe bullshit.

I just think this was completely unnecessary. It's like redubbing the intros/outros for other anime like Bleach, Blood+, Death Note, etc. I just don't get why they'd get this guy out of all people to sing the song though. He reminds me of Raffi (singer for infants and children). Don't worry FUNI, it's not like we don't 'get it' if the lyrics are in Japanese.

The man singing voices Edward Elric in Full Metal Alchemist, he also did the 3rd opening for One Piece, and the First. And heck, their dubbing Japanese songs (which I happen to enjoy both the original and this one) is much better than what they originally did for DBZ openings...
