I just bought one of these and I can seriously vouch that YES it is hella worth it. I play WoW and i think it's the perfect size, so many sick features too. the design is elegantly radical.. Everything is customizable... Anyways, good luck. Hope u get one.

Yes, the laptop is just beautiful. Intensive gamers should get cooling pad for any gaming laptop.

If you just want the max newest market laptop with the best gpu possible there are better. The design of the M15x/M17x is just unparalleled sense most other gaming books are bricks (literally).

You will open it up, play with the keyboard lights for an hour and a half while loading game. Then you'll be blessed with desktop rivaling graphics. Beautiful all around. Then you OC it :-P

@corfroo macs are by far the worst computers I tried a desktop that crashed after i loaded a couple online games and then i tried a laptop and it made me sick. Dell and all Dell lines such as Alienware are by far the best computers

Dells r the worst... When my sister got mine it crashed after a month and mine when i got it it said the hard drive wasnt installed properly and it wouldnt let me do a lot of stuff..... HP,Mac,Sony. and any other computer brand instead of dell. also dells r really over priced the HP computer i have is amazing and the same one from dell was about $400 dollars more...

Dells are very, very good if you pick the right ones, for games anyway. If you pick a Desktop type Dell with 500GB for $600 or something, then it will be crap. If you pick a $3000-$5000 Dell with i7 Cores etc, it will be "THE BEST!".

This is my other account instead of the goku account that was when i was about 8. Haha well anyways i wouldnt want to pay $3000-$5000 for a computer! I have a HP pavilion dv6-2190us. It has i7 cores 4 gigs of ram, 1g of dedicated memory for my graphics card! And just loads and loads more. I can run crysis and any other game at the highest point and if it would let you my this computer could go OVER the limit

just so ppl get to know 75% of the reason that wow lags in dalaran is because wow's servers arent good enough you can have the best super gaming computer in the world wow will still lag in dalaran cause its lagging because of blizzards servers.

yea youre computer might suck and whatnot but if you got the pc and still lags its not your rigs faulty

@kingzor100 You are right, but another reason why you get lag in dalaran is because millions of people are in that place and the city is really small, the more CPU and RAM you have the better it should run, only if the servers of WoW are not lagging etc. Getting my alienware m17x fsoon anyway, its a good system.

@cmkcc FPS stands for frames per second. So yes, the more frames per second that you have, the smoother the game will run visually.

Recording a shadowy LCD screen with a handheld camera will not produce identical results as with fraps. It will look somewhat smoother due to at least these two factors.

If it was just fraps video, you might get closer to the truth.
