The first solo is keyboard (Matt), the second is guitar(Marco). They are both just gorgeous. I really love Mike Mangini's drumming and Bryan Beller's bass playing as well.

@DreamTheater2005 I agree with you man... When I just started to listen to DT I was searching for the Octavarium and some guys have put the Drained on YT instead of original song and claimed that it's the original.
I like this song : obviously too pop to be on a DT album, but very good. In melody term, i hear a Mike Rutherford/Genesis 80's influence. Good song, Mr LaBrie.
This is the album that has helped me understand truly whom I am as a person&become such a very strong person. I'll never forget seeing Dream Theater live either! James Labrie is one of my all time fav vocalists!
@Numbstrike yea, the solo sounds kinda like it was pieced together or something and normally it sounds stupid but it sounds really awesome in this song.
@EpsilonX I could be wrong but it sounds a bit like a killswitch is being used very quickly during the solo at some points which means it can be played in one go and sound like that rather than being pieced together. Then again, the kinds of things you can do with studio tricks, guitar solos tend to be pieced together in studio more often than not anyway so who knows.. haha
It's nice to hear the word according to the good book of King James every so often
