  • i'm crying when i listen this song again

  • Yes i agree with you that time is a man made construct. I don't really know where that came from though. We have completely different views on what happens after this life. I could go into detail and debate about topics like this for hours but this isn't really the place for it. send me a private msg if you want to continue this debate.

  • I literally cried listening to this masterpiece!

  • this world does not know good art nowadays, in truth, nabuo uematsu rivals even bethoven and bach in his works

  • When 3:19 hit, i got a huge wall of goose bumps! this song alone makes me want to play all of the final fantasy games all over again

  • @alxbarros isn't it To Zanarkand? not At Zanarkand

  • This song gives me the chills every time I hear it...

  • F*ck goosebumbs al over the place!!!

  • Nobuo Uematsu es un genio!! esta música es fantástica.

  • our fucking world will finish like Zanarkand... if we done care of it...

  • who would ever dislike this?

  • When im down or feeling discouraged i listen to this for motivation. Thank you uematsu for such a beautiful song.

  • You can find my cover of this theme in my channel.

  • starts @ 0:12

  • I am so glad I found these Tour De Japon videos. God, this stuff is just so beautiful.

  • I didn't know that this was a song from a video game until I read the comments. I want to play the piano, and this song is the reason why.

  • I like it...A peaceful music ...!!

Sometime ,i want and dreams of becoming a music player in the hundreds of other

  • Only game, movie, or anything really to make me cry, so sad :(

  • I can't wait till FF X HD releases so I can relive the experience.

  • If people never heard of the game and listened to this music, they would love it for the sheer elegance of it.

  • Almost 2.5 million views. Not a big deal :D

But I wanted to comment saying it's songs like this that get you through the rough times. Music with passion in it. This truly is a masterpiece, even without the magnificent game behind it. It would stand head and shoulders above most other music, but with the story of FFX to back it, it's momumentally better <3

  • @lando0092

Well-said. I remember hearing this song for the first time, I was like ten and watching my brother play this game. I was thinking, dang I have never seen a video game like this! <3 Final Fantasy has truly gotten me (recently) through some tough things. =]

  • 333 people are mentally deaf and hate the world for not understanding this masterpiece.

  • HOHOHO when the orchestra cresendo'd i think most of you dropped at least 1 tear or something .

  • Beautifulllll <3

  • In moments like this I wish I could forget all about FFX. The history, the characters, all...just to play it again and be amazed about all what happend like in the first time.

  • When i listen to this i wanna cry ;o... dont know why, i'm a grown man...

    Most beautiful ever. love this...

  • Pr0 <3

  • @lalalolo49 With an "n", cuz it's a fu**ing EARGASM ;)

  • I brought up a website that could play songs during class. The girl across from me asked what song it was. I said "It's from a video game." then she looked at me like I was lame or like... I dunno, but she thought it was lame that it was from a video game. Oh how wrong she was.

  • who the fuck would dislike such beauty?

  • brings me back memories of FFX.

  • tres beau!!!!trop beau!!!!

  • 1:13 enter your text here

    the hell

  • This song reminds me for sure ffx but it makes me think (i don't know why) that our generation and our world is completly fucked up and none of us are dreaming today of a world without useless pain (i said USELESS pain) simply because pessimistic and other intelectuals said that. If you dream you are considered like a kid, an idiot or a crazy guy anyway...

But if there is a thing that can make the world advance... it's our dreams. Don't forget it.

  • @kakuify

Consider the world advancing as stated, your last fantasy. I feel we're beyond help, I'm sorry.

I will try my best to help the world on an individual scale but alas, I think to many are corrupt as we speak. Me included I think...

  • @kakuify forget what?

  • @kakuify Spot on man :) ... That is one of the many things final fantays teach us right ?

  • @kakuify Whenever I start to think like what you where talking about I remember:

Pain in life is inevitable but suffering is not. Pain is what the world does to you, suffering is what you do to yourself. Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional. (Buddhist proverb)

Windswept oaks grow the deepest roots. (European proverb)

May we not be spared hardships as overcoming them is what makes us strong. (a moral of a story)

    They're indomitable. (The Doctor)

We fall so we can rise. (one of mine)

  • @kakuify You can either live in your dreams or face the facts that humans is an infection to eart and its morons who you that still thinks that humans were put here for a reason.

  • @UzumakiNarutoKun96 Human beings aren't an infection. this way of life our culture decided to follow during the agricultural revolution is an infectious life style. there are still native tribes all around the world that live in perfect harmony with nature instead of against it like our culture. We need to realize this earth wasn't made for us and us alone. We are just another animal and we need to play by natures rules or we will become extinct!

  • @fromashestoflame earth wasnt even made for us. We are the biolocal outcome after billions of years of chemical reactions. Also its better if we just get extinct. all the human ever do is ruin everything. Man now they are even planning to ruin the moon.. just realize it. You are nothing and whatever you every do or has done doesnt matter a shit, you are just being delusional lol.

  • @UzumakiNarutoKun96 Earth wasn't made for us I know. we are but a part of it. Religion is the main reason we believe the Earth was made for us. Right off the bad in Genesis it states that god created the Everything on Earth for Humans all the animals and plants are ours for the taking.

  • @UzumakiNarutoKun96 I used to think like you do. I used to welcome the end with open arms. I still have faith in humanity and faith that enough of us have woken up to what we have become and want to change. Instead of embracing the end of our species I now embrace the coming catastrophe that will be the catalyst for change. Most of us won't survive but I have faith the ones that do will learn from our mistakes

  • @fromashestoflame One question, Are you religious? Cuz if you are this argument ends right here.

  • @UzumakiNarutoKun96 Not religious in the slightest. Was born into a religious family and abandoned it when i was 14 after realizing how corrupt it is. did you not see my first comment about how religion is to blame for man thinking the earth was made for him?

  • @fromashestoflame Think of time. now your thinking of nothing. time is merely something we have made up to make sense of our lives and everything happening but time can only be explained for something living. no beginning or and end except for biological creatures. once ur dead you will be gone for literally forever. forever. never ever experiencing anything ever again. ever. is time a good invention?

  • lol this sounds like princess mononoke

  • @AxelSandmann same composer

  • I always say, taht video Games does have the best music, and this proves it! <3

  • Thank you so much for posting this video. When the Final Fantasy concert came to Seattle, I was pretty much in tears the entire performance. It was a packed hall. Nothing compares to hearing this performed live. That they would re-release FFX on the PS3 is the only reason why I'm going to bother getting a PS3.

  • This song.... it will be played at my funeral!

  • I can't wait for FFX HD :)

  • timeless, flawless, absolute perfection ^_^

  • people...this is NOT a 'song', it's a piece of music...there's no singing!

But a damn good piece of music...FF7 & 10 FTW!

  • 1:48

omg CHILLS....i love this damn game so much and this song reminds me of the great story

  • the most powerful kinds of songs are the ones that make you feel some emotion, and I feel emotions every time I listen to this beautiful song <3

  • 2:26 Sounds like the Beginning of a Completely New, Beautiful Song. Its the Feeling of Lingering, Indecision, Unresolved. Its what the FFX team felt, And so when they found the Truth "At Zanarkand", It was only the beginning of the Real story.

  • I found peace and harmony in this song.

  • I actually used this in my wedding. The wedding party walked down to this song. The parents walked down to Aeris's Theme.

  • @egmadayag I hope you had a great wedding. It HAD to be since you chose the songs you did!

  • Tour de Zanarkand

  • This music made it even more epic.

  • FFX is epic. It has a great story, great characters, great music, great gameplay and great graphics. One of the best FFs. And it has a great mini-game. Loved playing it.

  • Beautiful.

  • WOAHHHHH wowwww the best :)

  • If these songs weren't written for video games, people would love this because it's "cultured". Since these are from a video game, most people just assume that it's lame and can't be this beautiful.

  • @JDylan09 It may be very pretty, but the medium (orchestral instruments, musicians in formal dress) does not make it classical or 'culivated' - it is very well done popular music written by a trained composer / orchestrator with a lot of refined skills: it is light tunes, a little accompaniment - simple (not a bad thing) rather like a fok tune or pop song. Not Classical, though, thought of as classical is a frequent mistake. It is like good film music.

  • @MuseDuCafe Some people on youtube talk complete shit but think you know what your going on about ^

  • @rabidhomosexual89 "some people on youtube talk complete shit but think THEY know what THEY are going on about" Yeah, I agree. Still, by definition, does not make this 'classical' music, which is really, without dissing it for what it is, well-written and orchestrated pop scoring, that's all I was saying. If you cannot deal with a clinical fact, that is truly your problem. It does not need to be classical or anything else for some to love it. God! -- people are out of their fucking minds.

  • @rabidhomosexual89 I'm sorry but I have to agree with Muse on this one. WHile it is a truly beautiful song, it is not "classical." Classical started out as a period of music innovation and contiunes on as music written to the parameters dicated by that period. Therefore, "classical" is more of how the music is composed (the music theory behind the noted and the various chord progressions) rather that how it sound or who plays it. That in no way diminishes this song though.

  • @catmani2 Who said this is classical? While I agree it's not technically classified as 'classical' it is equally as ignorant to refer to it as 'pop music' or anything else along those lines. There are millions of classical pieces with simpler melodies/structure than this. If you don't believe contemporary composers can produce numerous themes/ideas and complexity through their compositions, just listen to One Winged Angel, it's probably not as musically complex as a Chopin piece but still...

  • @JDylan09 Well it's not exactly a song from a video game... It's a song from a Final Fantasy

  • @JDylan09

That's exactly how I feel. I have told people that I like Classical music...from video games, and they just say... "Vidoe Game music? That's not music at all"

Idiots. And most of the people that say that HATE video games...

  • @Cricketheads12 If they say that then show them how ignorant they are. Send them this video and stick it up their asses until they realize what they're missing.

  • @aznboi1027

    HaHa! I should!

  • @JDylan09 Just like anime, people assume its cartoon and it's for low attention span kids but animes like Ghost in a Shell or Gto (Great Teacher Onizuka) can be sophisticated, philosophical and just good as any movie. If they complain about anime not being real or not able to send a message then they shouldn't even watch movies and tv shows coz they aren't 'real' either.

  • @JDylan09 Who are these people you're talking about jackass? I haven't met any. All being part of a video game has done has gotten this piece more notoriety and turned some gamers onto other good music.

  • @Chefodeath What is with the name calling? Just because you haven't encountered any doesn't me he hasn't. Get a grip.

  • @Armistice0 Its called calling bullshit. I think he's fabricating a statistic to feed his own egotistical sense of superiority over the world. I am simultaneously asking him to provide evidence of this alleged demographic as well as illustrating my derogatory opinion of him.

Your argument from ignorance isn't very impressive either. Just because its true that my never having seen a pixie doesn't neccesarily imply they don't exist, I can still reasonably assert that they don't.

  • @Chefodeath "I think he's fabricating a statistic to feed his own egotistical sense of superiority over the world" wow, I don't even know what to say about that. It seems to me that your'e the egotistical one. He made a simple statement and you're attacking him. Basically, all @JDylan09 is trying to say is that some people don't appreciate video game music solely because it's written for a 'video game'. I actually know many people like that, it's sad there are people like that in the world.

  • @Chefodeath Calling people names and starting unnecessary, pointless arguments over the internet is a little egotistical in itself don't you think? Especially in response to a comment like his which I don't think is very 'demographic' and/or offensive at all. At worst you could say he's simply exaggerating an obvious issue. But either way, it still has truth to it. But... to get off the subject, If it helps at all, I recommend you sit back and enjoy the music, that's why your here. Isn't it? :)

  • @DickKnowsBest fair enough

  • @Chefodeath Odds are against you. With humanity nearing 7 billion, it's nonsensical for you to even try to reasonably assert that people like this don't exist.

  • I always thought this was called "To Zanarkand" Hmm. Nice to know. This is a truly amazing song.THX for posting.

  • @npthedarkside27 I thought it was To Zanarkand o_O

  • @B0za0rM0sh same here...Either were wrong, or the uploader was wrong.Either way, Im confused

  • final fantasy X theee beest,, of all the times,,

  • Uematsu... AMAZING

  • 333 people are deaf

  • this is the best version of this song EVER!!!!

  • So. Many. Goosebumps. And memories, too. <3

  • Japanese and their talent >__>

  • on diré jakichan :p

  • Holy shit. Never even played the game, track made me cry like a little girl.

  • @DemanRisu Play the game, and you'll cry your whole goddamned soul out.

  • This is pretty much my favourite version of the Zanarkand theme. (The same could be said for all the Tour de Japon arrangements, respectively.) I also play this piece on electric guitar and piano. Check out my channel if you feel like listening, or follow: /watch?v=pxXs6tF3U1k

  • Because of this video, I just started doing another playthrough of FFX... it's just so good!

  • I really miss the real final fantasy like this one, The other ones after X is all crap.

    Unfotunately.

  • 333 people were defeated by SIN

  • 'Enter your text here' ... that has to be the highlight of this song.. nah but this song is damn good Uematsu is still a damn genius

  • Isn't this song called "To Zanarkand" not "At Zanarkand"?

  • This song has many names according to the record they appear : "To Zanarkand" (FFX OST), "At Zanarkand" (Preorderer FFX promo disc and Tour de Japon wikipedia/wiki/Final_Fantasy_concerts#Tour_de_Japon) , "Zanarkand" (Piano collection)

  • @creau1 actually the real name of this song is "Zanarkand theme" soooo when in the game if your in zanarkand..you'll hear this e.e

  • @creau1 It's normally just called Zanarkand, and It has been called different names depending on the setting where the characters are in the game.

  • @creau1 I think this track was playing when you are actually at Zanarkand in the game.

  • @creau1 if you traduct, it's the same, right ?

  • im trying to play this off by ear... probably one of the easyer ones?

  • Lorsque j'écoute cette musique, là seule pensée qui me vient est que la musique est réellement une drogue... <3

When I listen this music, I think something... Music is really a drug... <3

  • when i hear this, i want so fuckin damn play final fantasy x :D:D

  • @Vagraant you're missing a word or two there..

I want so fucking damn *bad to* play final fantasy x

I want *to play* *final fantasy X* *so fucking damn bad*.

  • Gotta love the Japanese... only they would have a concert for video game-themed music. America sucks lol.

  • They Started to suck at 4:49 :)

  • fantastic :)

  • 333 people is deaf ...

  • strangely this reminds me of a time when I was homeless, maybe because all I had was my mp3 player and it was a life-changing event, I was only 18.

  • ahhh i remember when i was young, playing this game and sitting up til'll dawn marvelling at the gorgeous world of spira

  • I want a cd of this tour...

  • nice oboe T_T

  • none gamer gf called the original piece beautiful, lets see what she makes of this as to me this song tugged heavily at my heart

  • Wooow, just wow. I never cry, well.. Definately not much, and this got some tears rolling.

  • Amazing.

  • 333 ppl couldn't return to Zanarkand xD

  • How beautiful, it couldn't have sounded any better then this. FF fanatic.

  • for the 333ppl who dislike this," wtf is your problem?"

  • Sorry guys that's not what I was trying to say = /, I have nothing against people who prefer FF7 or any other, I'm maybe just too much enthusiastic ^^

  • Instant Eargasm, just saying

  • Literally Audience have blank Faces

I would be finding it hard to smile

With a hint of controlled excitement

  • これは本当に名曲ですね。 質が高いですよね。

  • You can't really say FF7 is the best Final Fantasy if you've play FFX and heard this music. Sephiroth is maybe coolest than Jecht, but Tidus Is WAAAAAYYY cooler than Cloud, and the Story is better too (according to me)

  • @JezLaCrepe you forgot to include auron he is bad ass like hell

  • @sabourin01 Ow, you're right, I forgot Auron, but there's just something I don't like about him (SPOILER) : He died because of an attack from Yunalesca that makes only 250 damage, what a FAIL.

  • @JezLaCrepe yea I just past the game my 4th time at 100% and I know what u mean but he still bad ass

  • @JezLaCrepe I know, but he was weaker back then. Also whats the deal with anyone dead in the game staying alive? So...could everyone that dies simply keep living even though they attract feinds?

  • @Tensazangetsu100 It's not as easy as it look. The unsent (like auron or Seymour) are"still living" because of their will, which is powerful enough to maintain them in the living world. For example Auron was an unsent because of his pledge with Braska and Jecht, and Seymor or Mika for their ambition and their lust for power

  • @JezLaCrepe

You are contradicting yourself, saying that others can't say something yet then you state your opinion. Plus a single song can't make a game better than another.

  • @JezLaCrepe this song is awesome, one of the best final fantasy songs by far, but story wise 10 had nothing on previous final fantasy titles.

  • @JezLaCrepe 7 is definitely overrated, but with good reason and while 7 really made me think and feel that betrayal and confusion from Cloud, X touched me in a way 7 couldnt have. Of course my favorite will always be 6...

  • @JezLaCrepe

lol Why can't you say that? I've never finished FFX (shame on me, I really want to play it but unfortunately my PS3 died) but there's no reason to say FF7 is any worse. I mean I don't like the people who just follow the hype train either (my personal favorite is 9) but I liked 7 and I can see why someone would think it's the best game of the series

  • @xVishDaFish my fav is 9 too!lol

but cut him some slack.its partially truth.most 'ff fan' nowadays or so they say over rate the 7,not that im saying its not good, but these peep keep looking down on other people fav and other ff series saying like 7 is the only epic series ever made.completely not true.cos lots of other ff game is just as good or maybe even better.but they only having play crisis core or watch advent children act like they know what Final Fantasy is.its annoying a bit.

  • @headgirls

I know what you mean, when it comes to like fanboyism.

But JezLaCrepe's post says that you can't like FF7 better than FF10, and obviously there are people who will play both and like 7 better for whatever reason.

But yeah I definitely agree with how annoying fanboys are

  • @xVishDaFish true,in a way 7 was special to me cos it d first ff in 3d despite how lego like cloud was.XD

whoever played the 7,n say it still his/her best ff,than that a true fan.and yup fanboys are annoying,as u put it XD

  • @JezLaCrepe but Auron pwns everyone XD

  • At 1:45 I got goosebumps.

  • @blaze8998 i got goosebumps at 0:14 ;)

  • I love this song, is my favorite.

  • You would have to be evil at heart to dislike something this beautiful.

  • you have to see this guy liquid dancing to FF7 remixes!!! /watch?v=4OYCM3kOHWQ

  • Utterly Beautiful

  • I was born in the wrong place you know?? I LOVE JAPAN!!!

  • Final fantasy X..... THE best !

  • oh! i wish if i were the melody of this song!

  • It's funny how music can bring up memories...sad, happy, good, bad, all of them. Tomorrow is the memorial of a good friend, even though I only knew her for a short period of time...and this song makes it hard to deal with. But it also brings up other happy memories at the same time. This game is one of the good memories that comes up, playing with friends as we ventured the world of Spira and geeked out about it after school. Good times.

  • @dontknow511 just got touched by your words, I feel the same way about this song, no worries you'll see her someday just as tidus and yuna did

  • They all lookz like they feel the Song

  • who's conducting?

  • I played this game when I was 13-14 years old, I thought this was the best game in the world. I'm 20 next month, and I still think this game is the best. :)
