actually thats a little glitch i noticed about this game when i played it on the master system, you can actually score alot of points from a long range attemptif you get the feel of the court on the right angles and positions you can score from almost anywhere

Yeah! The Japanese version has the music by Matt Furniss! Awesome. Also, even though you didn't win, you play much better than I do. Very good mini-review

Absolutely bloody loved this game for the Amiga.......do they have the digitised speech of a vendor shouting out "Ice Cream" on the MD version?  Can't wait to get my Amiga games shipped over from the UK so I can get me mitts on this!

what a classic i really think that the mega drive version is the best

I had the Amiga version back in the day but the MD is as good IMO, though the Amiga music was slightly better :)

It's funny I'd forgot about that until you mentioned it, that was a pretty funny part of the game. This is still a good conversion though. :-)

Looks like a great port. The Amiga intro music is one of my all time faves, it's no quite as great here on the MD but still very good. The actual game looks as hectic as ever. :-)

The Amiga version is probably slightly better technically but its still fantastic on the MD- and it still plays bloody great as well!

I think i played this one on the Sega Channel years ago and remember having fun playing it.

Bit Map Brothers did the game GODS i think it is a favorite of mine which i want to pick up on the Genesis i might grab SpeedBall 2 as well.

It seems you've forgotten how hard this game was though :P It's brutal. It always was better in 2 player. Remember you can jump & catch the ball when it's over your players head, that will make it a little easier.

Btw, the music, although pretty good for the MD, is far better in the Amiga version.

Great point about jumping for the ball, I realised that after watching the video back! Think I need some practice!

I'd probably agree the music was better on the Amiga, just listened to a video of it earlier and it is better quality- though still think the MD version is pumping!

Blast! There is something wrong with youtube today, at least for me. I could only watch the first 30 seconds of this, and then it just freezes, no matter how many times I refresh. But be sure, I shall return so that I can relive some of the awesomeness that is Speedball 2! ^^ Even if I cant see the vid yet, im still happy that you put this up, its been years since I saw anything of this game!
