Hi SRG2000,Thanks so much for posting the video. It is of great help to people with similar conditions. My daughter has brown syndrome since she was a baby. She is 4 yrs now.She has it in her right eye and also has exotropia(wall eye)
My doctor suggested 2 surgeries ,one to fix her brown syndrome and another to fix her exotropia.can I wait some more months to a year or proceed with the surgery. did u try eye patch earlier?
Well, you don't *have* to have surgery. It was completely optional and we chose to do it, partly because we combined the first surgery with tonsil surgery.
I have a 4 year old little girl & she was diagnosed with Brown's Syndrome almost 3 yrs, ago. She also had ptosis. Both in her right eye. She's had 2 surgeries for the Browns in the last 2 yrs @ Miami Childrens. It has become frustrating because the two surgeries for Brown's has not seemed to change anything. We live in South Florida & have another appointment with Bascom Palmer Eye Institute next month. I was wondering where you had your surgery done and if you have any before & after pics?
Hi there, we don't have any pictures of before and after. However, the doctor has many of them! See my other videos for the third surgery update. This second one didn't do the trick--she still had a significant head tilt. The third time they operated on a different tendon and that helped a whole lot. It's a very difficult disease to treat and definitely not an exact science. The doctor's office was Children's Eye Physicans in Denver. Email me for more info if you need it. Rene
i suffer from brown's as well! im 17 in sydney, australia. learned to live with it, but ive become a bit of a celebrity! thats fantastic for you, congrats on getting your ears pierced!
cool! my little brother had eye surgery 2 days ago (not for Brown Syndrome, something else) and his eye is much redder than yours... but it will heal! you're so brave to have had 3 surgeries! and your ears look good too!
Awh, she's adoorable <3

Hi Darlenensammie, I don't know exactly how much because it was mostly covered by insurance. But I would say maybe at least 2 or 3 thousand dollars.
