Wow. Just wow. At first I thought it sucked; mostly because of some of the manga-type artwork. But as it got on I guess I can forgive them. That's A LOT of characters! But it IS a bit disappointing :\ But at least manga-style is used mostly only on feminine characters.

I detect 3-4 artists in this book. How about you?

And is it me or this series just turns more and more fan-girlish and fan-boyish? Come on! Bao is another typical neko fetish again while Guan Suo is like the typical soft gay :\

@spiritfired I always thought they did this kind of stuff? I mean Zhao Yun is the typical bishonen, and the Qiao sisters are loli. I like Bao as a neko. :3

@sojiro856 Yea. When it was in DW3 or 4, the Qiaos were NOT attractive or loli, the males' costumes are still worked on, but KOEI's effort to put forth the voice acting, gameplay and story is admirable. There were even character deaths. My perfect DW stopped at 5. But of course, they have to take their stuff to new direction since they can't ALWAYS do the same thing and came up with DW6. I guess these fan-boyish and fan-girlish stuff eventually pops up when a series gets popular. Good luck KOEI.

@spiritfired I didn't think DW6 was that bad. Attractiveness is a personal opinion. There was still character death in DW6, but it was not in game cutscenes.

Personally I like the cleaner solid colors of this art book than the older ones. At the same time, the previous ones were more traditional and fit DW more. :( I like both. Though, I wish the artist didn't do the "big eye thing" from anime with the girls. Boring.

Im pretty sure that 2 or 3 artists did a collab on this artbook(their just too drastically differant). The only females who suffered from the big eye syndrome are "Bao sanning, and the Qiaos" The rest of the females were a mixed, between anime and realistic...... really love Diao chans <3.

@BloodOre Hmmm I was wondering about the different styles in the art book, but some of them still kind of looked like the new artist's work so I brushed off my suspicion that it was the older artist's work. xD Silly me. Actually, one thing I like about the new artist is the perspective from which the person drew the characters. I like Xiao Qiao's because the perspective and foreshortening keeps the picture interesting. (and my favorite color is orange but shhh)

lol I think my favorites are: Diao Chan, Liu bei, Lu meng, Ma dai(he looks differant without his cap), Sima Shi, Xu Huang, and OMG Zhen Ji....... that purple is just..... purplelicious(wut). Oh and Cao Pi.
