Can you ream the shaft hole a little larger and then maybe add a bushing sleeve on the shaft? Maybe a piece of brass tubing or something on that order to move the pivit point back to it's original position. Looks like it's about a 16th of an inch off only.

@eastcoast78 Hey buddy! As you see, I found a hobby that was more affordable than the home cockpit. lol
I still have the controls set up and take a flight on occasion....
