Neat! 9 News has always had the best photojournalism in the area. I never knew how good TV photography could be until moving to Denver in the early 90s. All of the stations there shine, but KUSA seemed to push them all. Hope things don't change as Gannett keeps cutting and cutting.
@nakamichiguy Well, they won NPPA large-market Station of the Year in '09, though they weren't nominated for '10 (sister station KARE got that one). So maybe the cuts are starting to cause bleeding.
That 9NEWS logo from 1984 is still going strong, even after the switch to NBC in 1995.
One thing different about the long-running 9NEWS logo is that it has the NBC peacock in the end.
ABC is now across town at KMGH Channel 7
