Hilarious, to launch a SCUD B missile when it is loaded on TEL and not elevated it takes at least 20mins to launch it in this state.

Missile and warhead has to pass many really slow tests to proceed to launch, coordinates of the target has to be "programmed" and verified, fuel and oxy has to be pumped, etc.

So yes a scud launcher can fire nukes.

K,... i like it, but the only thing that gets me nuts about it is that the mush is gone after 2 minutes where it would be about 20 - 45 minutes in RL.

I hated that in OFP already (although gig_scud had the most beautiful blast i must say), can't you just keep the drops coming for about 15 minutes at least?

Not really, you can test weapons on the enemy, we Brits used tanks. Is the battle field destructable on this because it would bedazzle the mind if any building can withstand a nuclear explosion

The video was created from the first release of the nuke/scud. The damage range may have changed since then.

i can get the mods to my addon folder, but they stay in the "files ready to be written to the cd folder i cannot get them on the game. and the file "C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA\AddOns." does not exist on my computer. whats wrong? do i need some kind of special software?

No but you game might be installed in another directory. Right clicking the shortcut that launch the game and selecting "properties" from the menu, should give you the correct path to the game.

Addons (.pbo files) are moved to the addons folder located by default in: C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA\AddOns.

Now they will be avalibel in the ingame editor.

I dont think thats a Scud. A Scud has its own launch pad (sort of), but the point is its launched detached from the vehicle thats transporting it. Also, the Scud is notoriously known for the time it takes to prepare it for firing.

i'm sorry, but the MAZ-7310 SS-1C(MAZ-543M i think) "Scud launcher" does NOT launch a nuke. the Scud is a short-range-missile system and does NOT carry a nuclear warhead.

but, there is one MAZ that carries an nuclear head: SS-20 RT-20M" Saber" also known as "pioneer". Search google for this one..

The recording was done in 800x600 with settings set in low-mid range.

My FPS drops almoste to zero for two second just after the impact and shokewave. This is where I cut to a new camera angle in the video.
