  • I give Flashpoint #5 & JL #1 both 5 out of 5 stars ratings. 80s DC fan still going along for the ride.

    Matthew

  • im considering picking this up just to see batman act like an arrogant asshole, green lantern refer to himself in the third person, and superman well punch stuff somthing he seems to enjoy doing in this new continuity

  • Great Beginning

  • the monster is a parademon

  • Nice song reference in (whatever the space below the video is called) box.

  • I SUUUUURRREE hope they know what they are doing. And hopefully THIS time the universe wont' be quite soo FAKE. NOT with powers, I know you can't have super powered super heroes with out powers and aliens and stuff - hecc Superman; arguably the most well known and famous superhero of them all, the man PERSONIFIES the word Superhero is a super powered ALIEN, so I dont' take issue with that. HOWever, all taht bull crap with crisis this and criss taht and infinite earths and earth 1/earth 2 SUXXZ!

  • I love when you say "umm" or "ooooh" you humm it... I really want to cut it down to just those thoughts. Man you really wing it and your videos get drawn out soooooo long because of it.

  • stop saying uh.. uh.. uh

  • Man, you should be on TV. Go pro. Your intro was hilarious and you talked about this book with great energy, very informative, sarcastic, funny, and covered all the technical well. And then topped it off with valuable advice at the end.

Inspiring for we new reviewers who are a bit camera shy. Thanks.

  • in response to the end: damn manos. O_O you can be really cruel sometimes.

  • BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Awesome Intro! Brilliant!

  • I can't wait for issue 2, coming out 2030... Art has to be done...

  • well....sounds like a reboot to me

  • I liked it. Nice solid first issue. Nothing too spectacular. But, nothing bad about it.

  • I'm confused. Why the reboot, story-wise? How did it happen? And did all of the stories everyone keeps talking about not happen? Joker crippling Batgirl, Robin becoming Nightwing then Batman, death of Robin then coming back as Red Hood, Flash sacrificing himself, Green Lantern becoming Paralax, Batman timetraveling then building a Corporation full of Batmen for this huge payoff, then...reboot. If so, what was the point for Batman being gone so long?

  • I just thought the armour was just like Kryptonian stuff, like Superman got it from the Jor-El or something

  • 4 ramchips is for comics that are good reads and great to be rolled up & probably hit someone with it like their co-host on a news show

  • Best review of this comic I have seen

  • epic opener

  • Your opener was genius man.

  • Sounds real freaking interesting. Darkseid again, a whole new beginning again. Don't know how you do it Manos.

  • I think I was kinda right w/ my twitter assessment of what u might think about this book. Not spot on, but close.

  • great opener

  • Writers thought writing the Hulk as an interesting character was hard before. Well, in this new profound light, good luck writing about 1 guy who has been hijacking himself for years and being a complete drama queen to an unbelievable extent. Bravo, Mr. Pak, what a masterpiece.

  • I wonder if all the fanboys will recover from the relaunch in time for DC's next Crisis event.

  • Lol! This is going in my favorites.

  • one of you funniest videos to date man, great job!

  • I haven't read it yet. I'm still left reeling over Incredible Hulks 635, as a life-long Hulk reader i've had to deal with alot of change, but with this issue i can see what "Brand New Day" did to Spiderman fans.

  • @RobesMarlin I'd say it's closer to BND than the average Hulk change. Actually, it's most like the reboot in the 80's.

  • @therealmanos Re-reading some of the Peter David Visionaries books was not a good idea before i read this issue.

The Hulk was drinking gallons of Alcohol to incapacitate Banner when he eventually changed. He would intentionally leave Banner on cliffs so he would be stranded and have no chance to screw around and try to separate them. This was also the smarter incarnation at the time (The Gray Hulk).

Now i'm supposed to believe that Banner controlled all this? Unreal.

  • i love ur ruthless sarcasm ;) awesome review!

  • Good review. I agree with the crossover stuff. It sucks major balls and I've hated it since the first time it happened. I've just learned to not fall in love like you said and have fun.
