Politicans created the problem because they wanted to female vote. Children are not the issue, mothers votes are. But second and thrid wives are beginning to speak out as are fathers who are fathers no more. Children are speaking out, but their voice goes unheard. Laws have more than destroyed families, they destory lives, the father's and the children's. Society is getting worse.

I was had criminal charges placed aganst me by C.A.S when I was 12 I got placed in a group home, and obviously did not like it at all so I AWOLed alot and there is nothing they can do unless you have probation outstanding charges so when I tryed to leave one day they jumped on me and yelled call 911 and said I assalted one of them so I got my first charge, and because of that after every time I steped out of line they would say I was breaching my conditions, I got 57 breach charges in total.

I find that the fact is that there payed out to drop cases and say its for the BEST INTEREST like what the fuck is that they not only turn there cheaks on our rights or our family but what there doing is illegal and completely steriotipical like im sory mother have it better then us fathers if we dont have a common relationship with the mothers we dont get our kids i have one and have been fighting for almost 2 years, and had to apeal proving there was nothing wrong... what does that tell you?

And much of the blame for this goes to filthy disgusting lawyers, judges, and politicians - they have the power to change things and do nothing - because, like psychopaths, they couldn't give a rat's @#$@#$ about other's pain and suffering.

May be time for another event like back in the 1600's in England. Citizens took to the streets and rounded up judges and lawyers and... well gave them all what they deserve. Judges and Lawyers who do nothing are the reason the problem is as big as it is. They have failed to stand up and fight for these families, with excuses and for the love of easy money breastfeed from the tax payer right into there own pockets. At the cost of childrens tears.

Home schooling is one way to potentially thwart these CPS Cruellas - then they can't just take your child from school on a Friday afternoon (after a teacher has reported her "suspicions" of abuse (which she has to do by law, or else). Always make sure you have a good lawyer - and get their home number / cell number in case you need to contact them at some ungodly hour. Keep in mind that your neighbour, your friend, your bank teller, ANYONE, can give info to be used against you.

A young mom in Vancouver, BC (16 year old, in the foster "care" system herself) was recently tasered WHILE HOLDING HER BABY. The CBC story and others are misleading, and claim she was mentally ill, and baby was in need of emergency care. Actually, what happened was social workers got pissed because she didn't follow their Heil Hitler rules re: curfew or whatever, and decided to take baby. Social worker (at least one) 1 male cop, and two female cops ganged up on her.

Hopefully they won't. But it's always a good idea to know your rights (and let them know you know your rights). Keep a video camera handy just in case they do return and there are any problems. Be careful, because they may be talking to friends, neighbours, exes. It's probably not a bad idea to have a good anti-CAS lawyer ready to call at any time in case there are problems. And have him / her write a letter to them if they cause any problems and have everything documented.

silvergirl1980, tarch is right, they may have an initial visit, but they are no doubt conducting their own enquiries.. Waiting in the wings so to speak...this can take up to six months...

I dont know why they called round, but once they come they will be doing background checks, particularly for any previous involvement with their services or mental health issues...

Be careful many have crossed this path and have rued the day.

Children's Aid Society is NOT a government organization. It's a private organization run by a board of directors that share the organzations views. This is the reason why the Ontario Ombudsman is unable to oversee this agency. Reluctance of CAS to welcome oversight to better the child protection industry is appaling. Like the CAS is states, If you have nothing to hide then why deny us the priveledge to just look around. Funny how this hypocritical agency can not follow their own thinking.

You are all right. WE need to stand together and fight for our children, and have this agency pay for the pain and suffereing that they have caused based of false alligation, lies, and Doctors trying to cover their asses. THEY NEED TO BE STOPPED!! KEEP UP THE FIGHT!!

Don't forget about the various Judicial Councils who review judges etc. Even if they don't act, there are a body to go to.

Generally a waste of time, as they support one another. In RARE cases, some justice is done, maybe through lawsuits, but it is time-consuming and often unfruitful.

However, don't give up the fight, whatever the cost. (I speak to myself now as well.) You are not alone in your struggle against the Devil.

Its not just CAS its MCFD in BC too. Our children are a meal ticket to some strangers. Everyone must know every family is one phone call away from having their children taken. If you get a biased social worker who doesn't like you for what ever reason then watch out and say bye to your kids cause the courts will just steal all your money fighting to get them back. & no one wants to be held responsible for your kids anger issues they created from being tossed into care ... dispicable

I was investigated for alleged child abuse 7 months ago and have not seen or talked to my son since.

Following the investigation there was a report that was based on opinions, misquotes, and false allegations, not facts.

Not bad enough they took my son away, I have been slandered, and because my daughter still lives me, constantly harrassed to protect thier bogus report.
