  • whoever 'disliked' this shouldn't be pursuing a musical profession, or even pretending they have a credible opinion, because this woman will be talked about for generations to come for her virtuosity and command of classical singing. Viva la Joyce!

  • I've rapidly become a fan. Tremendous singing ... exciting singing. A very accomplished artiste. Brava!

One other thing. Am I right in thinking that her French pronunciation is very acceptable - at least as good as Janet Baker's and perhaps better than Frederica von Stade's? I am a fan of these ladies too.

I seem to remember that even Regine Crespin said that French was not easy and that she preferred singing in Italian or German!

  • Yes, she definitely has a very good diction. I think the French pronunciation is difficult, especially for English speaker (the French "r"!). But here, she almost speak a perfect French.

I'm glad you like her! I'm a great fan of Von Stade too, and I believe Didonato too ^^ She's the next dazzling mezzo ;)

  • Baautyful photos!

  • I was there...!!! Awsome...!!

  • You're lucky! I wish I could have been there too... Only by listening to this, she's bloody awesome!

  • In ten days, more or less, she will sing at the Barbican as Marguerite in La Damnation the Faust... I can't wait...

  • You're going there too?! Aaaaaah que suerte tienes! I have to wait for January to be able to see her... and it will be the very first time :) Can't wait either!

  • Y gracias por la dedicatoria ^^

  • Como me gusta este aria!! Gracias por colgarlo =)
