You won’t change how the military deals with rape until some rape victims gets a side arm and kill a base commander for failure to do what is right. It may take up to ten or so deaths including a four star general before shit heads realize that commanding officers can get hurt for not taking action.
I still say BLOW THEIR BALLS OFF!! Tolerance of sexual assault or harassment is not written in the contract people sign nor is it US military code. When this occurs, rank, superiority, and authority, is no longer relevant. You are a human being attacked by another human. Fight back. You have a God given right to protect yourself.They are going to slap the article 15 rule or whatever it's called on a person that speaks up any way. Might as well make the abuser's life a living hell while you can.
@dmr868 We shoudl start a "whistelblower" website- listing the names AND addresses of known rapists. When their houses get pelted with grenades and we claymore the fuck out of their backyards THEN maybe they will listen.
I'm not stupid enough to join the military personally but it's pretty obvious there's no place for women in warfare. There weren't any females wielding swords and shields in ancient warfare for the past 10,000 years, there's no reason they should think they have any place doing it now.
Women are NOT second class citizens. We have laid our lives on the lines just like any man. Rape is NOT a part of war! Rape is an execution of POWER, an act of VIOLENCE!
It is totally ridiculous that men can't keep it in their pants. There are women who give it away, there is NO need take it from any woman who is UNWILLING!
Sadly, the war mentality breeds aggressive behavior this is nothing new. Throughout history, the rape of women has been a part of war. If we ever wish to cure society of some of its most egregious ills, we will have to address the acceptance of women as second-class citizens.

But same goes for parents. Not all of them treat their own children right..
I just meant, that war has an impact on those who witnessed it and that every person deals differenty with it...

I agree, but in wartimes things are different.
I dont want to excuse anything, but I think that most people are changed, whlie being in a war.
All the impressions and psychological stress may even change a "good" man.
It has since 1000s of years and I dont think it will change, until there is no more war.
Surey wemon are not second class. They have other advantages, then being a stupid, orders-following soldier...
