@MrRoiden yeah you have to do it tandem the first time. That is essentially your first lesson. it cost me $180. and yes you have to pay for every jump. after your first tandem jump, you can go by yourself with your instructor beside you to support you. I think it takes like 8 jumps and then you can go whenever you want for like 10 bucks.
