  • DickDickDickDickDickDick

  • At 6:14 he get's that tractor rollin'.

  • @arkansaswookie jajajaja

  • JAJAJAJA

  • Guys, this version is good in its own way!!

Its just when we start comparing it with the original it becomes average.... Those guys were Gods, these are mortals, lets give them a break.

BTW .. the drummer was truly into his own from 1:36 - 1:56 , even Bonham would have been proud of that !!!

  • Nice job!!!

  • I love this song Robert Plant doesn't sing in it!

  • a fucking shit...

  • I don't know about all you guys, but the reason I watch videos like this is to see a different solo. I never expect anyone to completely the entire freaking song note for note. If all bands covered songs completely the same than it would be retarded. And for fucks sakes, at least this guy could improve for five minutes and didn't take the time to learn the entire solo. All you fucks need stuff a big black cock in your mouths and think three times before placing a comment about how the entire so

  • i like it ok, takes balls to try and do this song, they did it this way and that is cool, Want to hear the real deal whip out your cd, otherwise enjoy what these guy's are presenting.

  • Did all these people heard it till the end?

    I don't get it.

  • If you want to be like Jimmy Page, then be do what he does. Don't just stand around and do fuck all while looking like a sad sack of shit.

  • The drummers good but he needs to get a haircut it would his control

  • The guitarist wasn't very good. The drum solo was okay. Obviously people are posting a lot of negative comments because their comparing him with Bonzo.

Comon guys, if you wanna talk shit at least show something credible with you playing well. If not, stuff your mouth with a cock.

  • This is a very good band.

The Cold War produced ALL the bands, and it is good to see men that can do it correctly.

They don’t have to have every note the same. They are //supposed// to do their own version, have it kick ass, and still maintain the classic flare.

Time Machine does that, and God bless ‘em for it.

  • i think he did soso on the drums , but the dif between this guy and john is jon never ever had a moment of silence at any time while on the kit, meaning if a clock is ticking it never stops make sound or an motor running, the constant sound of the drums in total sink. whether it is the high hat or a tom, there is allways none stop sound. this guy droped a stick and keeped playen, nice recover.

  • everything about this flat out sucks a fat black mans dick. wtf youtube why u do me like this, why mike why do u drive a ford

  • maybe this drummer thinks that he is invoking the spirit of John Bonham, but I would say that he is more likely invoking the spirit of Bozo the Clown...lol. Seriously dude, you didnt even come close to the feel that Bonham played with. Its all technique with you and nothing more.

  • @resqfireman LMAO !!! I'm sure Bozo The Clown would play better, this is fucking complete utter shite, what a lame motherfucking excuse of an attempt that is not even moby dick he got the shit all wrong, it's drum improv is what it is, at least if you play someone's song get the bloody fuck right , this is an INSULT ! I bet Bonham is turning in his grave to this bloody shite! Fucking n00bs!

Guitars suck my big ass dick! FUCK'EM TOO motherfuckers.

  • Comment removed

  • FUCK YOU

  • What pisses me off is not the fact that the band sucks but the fact that you named the video as Led Zeppelin. You should rename it to "time machine - moby dick" or something.

  • why are you using a double bass?

  • he' s not playing that guitar.. is destroying

  • Ive been drumming for 6 months and I can replicate bonzo's moby dick better than him. fuck sake... havent you studied it at all? its not all silly triplets you know, there's a feel to it!

  • @fkyou2slut somehow..i reeally find that hard to belive.

  • Hey Final---It's called "criticism" Handle it!

  • Get rid of the double pedal and Gretsch kit---Bonham used Ludwig and 1 pedal---if you can't do that---than FUCK IT

  • @TomYanks Wait, so now he has to be Bonham? WTF? Let him do his shit how he wants to do it.

  • @TomYanks ehh i dunno dude id rather hear him do his own take on it. i love jb but hes not him hes only doing a song by him. each singer sings a song the way they sing, you can try to copy but itll always come out yer own way in a sense.

  • the double bass pedal was just the final blow to absolutely kill this performance. do slipknot or hanna montona or something

  • @zzzzzzzzzz202 What the fuck is wrong with Slipknot dude?

  • @finaldrumer slipknot suck dicks dude

  • refucking label the video, its misleading

  • At least u tried....u still Failed miseribly and shouldnt repeat that performance ever again....but u still tried

  • I agree with Skankmaster90's second comment

  • YOU IDIOTS.

  • hope bonozo dont roll over in his grave after hearing that drum solo

  • its not good drum solo I hear better then that

  • @crvtes me hear better also...ugh,ugh

  • The guy at the start tries to copy robert plant on the song remains the same where he says this too

  • fuck this drummer is gay, long black greasy looking hair, cheap drum kit, waving his hair around. what a metal loving, mom's basement dwelling, knuckle dragger. not a bad solo. but for god sakes, if you're man friend needs something to hold on to, buy a harness, but get a fuckin haircut you bigfoot looking dicktree.

  • @Skankmaster90 Gretsch kits aren't cheap!

  • @adds102 actually gretsch kits are getting pretty lower class now. the gretsch catalina ash kit sells for like 500$ and i think thats what he's using.

  • Is that animal from the muppets? no? sorry, the hair made me think it.

  • that guitarist sucks !!!! he do not deserve a guitar like that

  • no cowbell, ugh...

  • The guitarist looked like he had to take a six - foot shit the whole time.

  • @EverythingUndaDaSun HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

  • Guitarrist is not as good as drummer.

  • Gene Hoglan's brother on drums?

  • @spaceboy90 hahaha, seriously.

  • @spaceboy90 almost looks like him don't it? :D

  • i gotta say, coming from a huge led zeppelin fan and fellow drummer, huge props!! there are alot of people who will hate on you for covering a zeppelin song becasue people think thats the end all be all. but this my freind is what you call a good fucking cover

  • whats the size of this bss drum 26'??

  • does anyone notice the fire on the floor at the bottom right of the screen, next to the drums. at 7:13... close one

  • @Rutsy80 thats the reflection from the cymbal that the guy on the left is adjusting at the same time.

  • @Rutsy80 dang your right.

  • hey its not like theyre trying to be led zeppelin theyre just playin something that the audience would enjoy and its deffinately enjoyable...especially if this was a bar

  • this is bad, why the double bass?

  • Great solo on it's own but not Moby Dick, not John Bonham and certainly not Led Zepplin. John B. also had a light touch when needed and was silky smooth... this guy is upset, trying to destroy the drum set.

  • well done now go back to doing your homework it will be bed time soon

  • @666XD1 congrats..did anyone ask?

  • Comment y s'la pète avec ses beaux cheveux d'blaireau..., y bosse chez petrolan....??

  • These drums sound triggered to me

  • they arent triggered...but john never had a double pedal

  • @VegaWgn yeah just like Hendricks didnt use effects pedals..its amazing the people today cant recreate the sounds from the 60's and 70's without technology

  • I liked it tho better than me

  • Nice try solo is to fast

  • i can play this on bass

  • 4:24 hahaha :p little cymbal prob?

  • This sabian on the left sounds great, which one it is?

  • ahi la lleva ahi la lleva

  • drum solo on 1:17- amazing

  • jaja bonham sabeee!!!! Xhea!!!

  • pearl rocks ass xd

I have a pearl master custom MCX xD

i like this song, dont like tha solo.

  • sad

  • Very solid drum solo i like it.

  • the drummer is good and pearl have the best drums and premeire is good to

  • dont' talk sh*t, there are even lot better drums then pearl and definitely better them premiere!!

  • ok i wasn't talking shit i was just saying pearl are the best drums cause there in the top 3 with gretch and ledwig and premier might suck now but back in the day they were some of the best

  • u looked like u were enjoying urself lol, good job

  • He is Fantastic on drums! Clap, Clap, clap!

  • Perfect, right down to the Gretch logo and the double bass pedal. I think Bonzo had darker hair.

  • Bonzo used ludwig drums and he only used a double bass pedal once in a live performance, he normally used a ludwig speed king pedal

  • It's common knowledgev Bonzo used a double pedal, and was a paid Gretch endorser. He used Zildjian cymbals, 5A sticks, and a 22"bass. Where do you get YOUR info from?

  • wikipedia, the john bonham site, led zep books...

he used paiste 2002 series cymbals, who cares about the sticks, and yes, that is the measurement of his kick drum, but the only thing Gretch on his kit are were his 42 strand snare wires, you must be livin under a rock pal.

  • a disgrace to bonzo, he would get the feel and then ruin it with his stupid shit.

  • hmmm, not sure what to think.

on one hand, the drumming's good, on the other, the guitarist is absolutely unproffessional. Not terribly good, sloppy as hell. overall 2.5/5 stars

  • as was Page, sloppy as hell....that is kinda on purpose, btw

  • Yeah, in fact, it's partly his sloppiness that made him famous. He somehow hit the wrong notes while he was playing and accidentally (or subconciously) made them sound like they fit. But, not here. Here, it's just really sloppy. Hell, i'm sloppy, but i'm gonna at least work on it before i start doing gigs.

  • yea i agree. my band is gonna do a cover for moby dick for our schools talent show. cant wait :)

  • wow they butchered that it was terrible wait to go you long hair dirty fucks

  • badass XD

  • i like it ;)

  • horrible!!

  • Wonderfull, powerfull, dynamite!!!!!!

  • the guitarist sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • what is wrong with the guitar part? sounds sloppy as Page...

  • @lespaul4U got that right!

  • fuckin hell big man your an ugly bastard but by fuck john henry would be proud of you well done

  • simple. this isn't moby dick. but nice drum solo ...

  • I think he's damned good. It's all about a tribute to John and that's all that matters.

  • As far as the drums go I dont know what these guys are talking about cuz thats one of the best moby dick solo covers ive heard. Excellent!

  • You are shittin me?

It's a good solo, ok. I couldn't play it like it's way beyond me, but it's not Moby Dick. In the style of, but not what Bonham played.

Frankly though there are too many triplets.

Still a very good solo, but not even near what Bonham played.

  • Lol, Did you mean to say it like Billy Mayes, or not. Either way, your right, you may not play it, but in your opinion, you just don't think its good. Or am I completely wrong?

  • Billy Mayes?

Anywho yeah I was replyin to someone who said that it was the best Moby Dick cover they'd seen and I was sayin it's not really a good cover just a good solo. etc. etc.

I can't remember if it was you I replied to in the first place, sorry...

I do think it's good, but it's not Moby Dick.

  • sucks at life

dont give up ur day job dude- and worry more about playing than swinging your stupid hippy hair around

they only cheered because they were drunk

  • 07 and the bass player is wearing ripped jeans?

    wow

  • John Bonham is way better then this guy but it was still pretty good.

  • Thats legit!

  • That was a really good cover. wheres the end?

  • they go into no quarter at the end....lotsa zep!

  • This video isn't appropriately named.

  • drum solo fail!!

  • What are you talking about!!??? This guy fucking OWNED those drums man!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Time Machine is an awesome name for a band, and that is a really good cover!

  • FANTASTIC.

  • Are those drums Gretsch Catalina club grey sparkles? If so I have the same set. Purchased about 4 or 5 years back. I also don't cut a hole in the front skin. I've had band members tell me to cut it ..I said F.O> lol! cheers! Great solo.

  • ps wheres the crowd? Another dull tribute night on a tues eve :D

  • Good drummer shit band

  • yea, but it`s good shit, man...

  • watch their 'no quarter' cover. these guys kick ass.

  • check out MY drumsolo... he uses double kicker there, JOHN BONHAM DIDN'T

    /watch?v=RJSZ5cYE6Ns

  • /watch?v=RJSZ5cYE6Ns

  • i wish the audience would shut up. i mean the cheers are okay but the yelling is fucking annoying. great solo though, really good

  • I have that exact kit. It does sound awesome, just as good as the ludwigs for half the price.

  • hey if u like the way zeppelin rock n rolled

check my bad out..were a mix of zepp/floyd/sabbath/hendrix

  • great job man....and those gretsch's sound awesome

  • gretsch? where? lol..that`s a pretty expensive les paul.......it may take offense....

  • he's talking about the drums...

  • oops..forgot..lol..my dumb

  • /watch?v=5AjkrMa6G9o&feature=channel_page

  • okay buddy, whatever you say. i'm the one with sheet music that's acknowledged by led zep...and oh, by the way you're the one who says it's wrong. my knowledge isn't flawed as i have a masters in music theory...unlike you(obviously talentless).

  • You also have your head up your ass. You went to Uni, well done. You bought sheet music that quality approved, well done. You also spend your time arguing over one note on a COVER of a great song on YouTube. Get a life and a real job, a masters in music theory isn't worth shit, anyone with any musical talent could most likely get one. Even me, especially if it's from an American university, and I'm drummer for christ's sake. I can't even read sheet music.

  • oh, good job being a hipocrit...you're lecturing me about making comments about a youtube cover...what exactly are you doing?

  • The lead playing sounds quite bad, and I have a sneaky suspicion he didnt tune his guitar to drop D.

Can't say much about drumming as i'm not a drummer, but what I did hear sounded fairly good.

  • tells what you know about guitar playing too, as you obviously aren`t a guitar player either...

  • I'd love to hear an actual reply to what I said, rather than just making comments on me personally. I also am a guitar player, which is a fact which you can't dispute. And to me, it does sound bad, I didn't specify exactly why as I assumed he went for a different interpretation of the song, which is fine by me.

  • ok, all ya gotta do is watch the guy to see he`s in drop d, and the friggin last chord of the guitar part is d with a low d, and it sounds pretty much like Page did it live..and you do it how? send us a link to you doin it. How`s that for a reply to what ya said..you discredited your playing at the point you didn't catch the tuning...listen to more live zep, you`ll see where the interpretation came from.

  • I've uploaded a video of me doing it.

Also, i've listened to every live version of this song, it's played pretty much as the orginal in every version, except for the odd bit of sloppiness.

Also, the last chord doesnt need the low D, and isn't present on the studio version if you listen carefully.

  • not to sound anything but confused, this version is recorded with a camcorder, so sound quality is what it is, but where does this not sound right..it is sloppy, but that is the page sound, and it is live..so liberties were taken..but it sounds pretty accurate..just to get an idea of what this band does, check out their no quarter vid, and give me a link to yours..:)

  • hint #1 the song is played in normal tuning, the guy in the video just sucks.

  • again, show me what ya got..this is a recording off a digital camera, and is pretty accurate for a live zep cover..geez you guys need an outlet lol

  • look up the sheet music and show me where you see a "d" anywhere on the main lick. good job jackass.

  • sorry I forgot to post the link to mine kingmutantbunny :)

    /watch?v=DSrCsLLsrKM

and snowman, I like how you call him a jackass when the first note is an open D. you've obviously never read the sheet music, go look at it yourself im not doing the work of finding it to prove your idiocy.

  • ummm...okay dude who obviously is both tonedeaf and stupid, the opening note is an open E not a D. moby dick is played in standard tuning. many zep songs were in dropped D but this is not one of them. one of their more famous tunes that was in dropped D is kashmir. and for the record there is a "D" somewhere...it's the 4th note in the main lick, i apologize for the inaccuracy, i was on shrooms at the time...but my point remains that it is played in standard tuning, i know because i can play it.

  • the main lick is... E, e(octavian), e(octavian) pull off D, A slide down to G,A,G,A then repeat...try it...you'll see.

  • "Only guitarist Jimmy Page and bassist John Paul Jones play the tune's Drop-D blues-based riff with Bonham's drums"

from the wikipedia article, note "Drop-D"

i've just taken a look at the state of many tabs on the internet, watch led zep live, if you can't hear the D you really are an idiot.

kashmir is in page's custom arabian tuning, which is an extension of drop D

also see my video of me playing it

    watch?v=DSrCsLLsrKM

    it's in drop D

  • oh, nice...you have tabs...i'm impressed...not! i own the sheet music asshole, i'm looking at it right now...it's an e you fucktard, learn to play guitar first then speak to me.

  • read your sheet music more, its in drop D

ill assume you're joking after this point as you've just ignored the wikipedia and my version of it so you must just be trying to irritate me... true?

  • oh, and have you ever tried playing it with the actual song? no, because if you had you'd have to be tonedeaf not to hear the difference between what you're playing and what's recorded

  • ummm...irritate you...no. educate you. obviously this is your first day playing guitar. and yes i have tried playing it with the album, it's an E, i've also tried it with my guitar tuned to dropped d and it just doesn't match, mabe you need to get your hearing checked, cuz yours doesn't sound like it either. go to college, try majoring in music like i did, they'll teach you how to play.

  • maybe a major in english would have been slightly more helpful...

and you dont even know what drop D is so how can you tune your guitar like that?

upload a video of you doing it, till then, good luck with your obviously flawed musical knowledge

  • Gotta say it......AWESOME!

  • if ur reading this and bored D

  • great cover... great drummer. Anyone suggest me a name for my hard rock band??? pleazzzz!!!

  • DRAMA kINGS

  • Grind Gear, Shake, Groundrun, So Far So Many, Backwoods Band. My band's name is Unless and we are a hard rock band too. Good luck with yours and keep rockin' the joint like these guys did.

  • you are not led zeppelin

  • Get some talent before you criticize others FUCKNUTS!!!! This cat is pretty good and entertaining to watch.

  • I am Led Zeppelin

  • you are not led zeppelin

  • that was a nice recovery from losing the stick

  • i respect this band... they do great at coveringthem and they dont try to look liek them .... lol

  • wow and i just realized my band name is also time machine...it was a last minute thing...check it out! we have been playing in local blues bars, so its straight

  • i am loving the robert plant song remains the same intro...hey, check out my profile...there is a video of me and my band playing "the Girl i love" (bbc sessions) and "moby dick" at our high school talent show..i am not in high school yet XP...but still check it out, let me hear what you think...GREAT drum solo by the way

  • I hope a drum stick doesn't get caught in his hair!

    That was a nice cover...actually...awesome...

  • yay tab!

  • Saw this show..it was awesome

  • oh hell ya!!!

  • saw you guys last night at deekers....awesome!

  • Great job on the drums King ! All of you !

The sound is better than the others, the video still needs work. Get a new cameraman.

  • very nice!!!!! Bonzo would be proud. RIP JOHN HENERY BONHAM
