I was surprised when I saw K D Lang in concert in Brisbane Qld AU in the 90s. Her voice actually sounds better live than it does on CD if that's possible.

This is so very beautiful. I thought that nobody could cover Joni’s song of “A Case of You” but this woman sings the song with passion and feeling and makes the song her own. This is such a lovely song and this version is wonderful! I was nearly in tears.

KD is one of the best female vocalists alive or dead, as far as I'm concerned. Her range is extraordinary. Her ability to put so much deep emotion into her voice is remarkable. She carries each note with such purity it's really incredible. She can sing anything she likes & I'll listen willingly.
