i know everybody loves the early oasis but i have to say i especially love their last two albums. those were not under those "britpop" or "reach topchartposition" shadows and the band tried new stuff and sounded .. elder and grown. not party music, which is not bad but songs like this one are pure art!

as an oasis fan and listening to this and waiting for the rapture alt versions the alternative blows the album versions tae fuck!!!! in my opinion( and believe me av got everything and anything) they've done!!! and my gods honest opinion is that they had far too much money to throw about with recording sessions!!!! fair dues but someone should've stepped in and said this is great!!!!! why do it again!!

This version is heavier than the album version! I hope Oasis saves it and releases it on a Bsides or Rarities collection. This take should not be scrappped; it just sounds so ominous compared to the album version. The piano is way more prominent in this version too!

Liams voice hasnt died! Its canged. It's no wonder pepol dont like it because its trebly now and so when he sings Definatly Maybe songs it doesnt sound right. But he's just changed his delivery. Alright, he lost his voice at one point but that was in the early 2000s here he is absolutly brilliant

cant decide which is better. the chorus is better maybe on the album version but the chorus and middle bit where the guitar solo is is better on this, me thinks. if liam sang on this version, it would be a close run thing which version is better.
