Hi LLB, thanks. Font is Bankgothic and I downloaded it free off one of those font sites years ago...a googlesearch may turn it up :)

Ok, yeah, another one. I love all Freelancer's videos. BSG has ALWAYS ruled since the Miniseries. freelancer just brings out what we all loved about that show, and does it the justice it deserves. The music s/he uses for his/her videos is outstanding (always) and the footage rocks, too! GO FREELANCER!

Suggestion, since this videomaker rocks and everyuthing s/he touches turns to solid gold: Try making a Hera/Athena/Helo video with either "Promise To Try" or "Keep It Together" by Madonna from her "Like a Prayer" album. Lemme know if you DON'T have either song if you do get to making that video. Be very happy to supply them.

Re: your suggestion...I went and listened to those songs, but I didn't like them (really sorry) and I know I couldn't make a video worth watching to a song that I don't feel strongly about. I do think the Helo/Athena/Hera grouping is one underrepresented on youtube though - be good to see a few more videos on them.

I don't think this compares to When Fates Collidet because this has a different feel to it, and so is unique in its own right

It's a masterpiece in it's own league. And i just can't stop watching 0:30 :P I love that part. Both this video and when fates collide are brilliant in their own rights, but so different aswell.

And this has set me up perfectly for the last half of season 4 when it comes out in about 6 days.

Typically I tend to think music videos such as this can only be so good because many have talking heads but no voices - the editing here though lifts it above the majority. Very nice, and certainly not hurt by the choice of song. Years since I last heard that. :)

Thanks. I agree with you on the talking heads w/o voices thing, I hate that as much as I hate long scenes just cut straight from the episode. I only use talking scenes exceptionally and only then if the clip is visually dynamic.

Thanks, if I remember correctly this one  took around 8 hours or so, but I didn't do it all at once, I spent 30 mins there, an hour here, over the course of a few weeks.

Yeah, it's one of my faves too. I've had it in the background for over a year now. I knew I really wanted to make a BSG vid to it but couldn't visualise how it would work. Then one day I just sat down and started editing and this is how it played out.

Thanks. I have a completely unrelated career in aviation safety. This is just something I do because I find it relaxing; I'm an ametuer who sould probably doing more constructive things with my time, but hey if you enjoy something I figure you should just do it :)

Thanks, I use Pinnicle Version 11 software. Most vidders use Sony Vegas which gives you a lot more editing options and special FX. However, I think Pinnacle is easier to use and I'm resisitant to change ;)

Thanks for your encouraging words. There is nothing else on TV that compares to BSG and it's going to leave a big gap. This weekend I hope to release a video I'm quite excited about - I haven't decided on a name for it yet, but it will include scenes from the finale. Depending on how well that goes down, I'll start work on another BSG vid the week after :)

Can't wait for tonight's part one of three that ends BSG. Glenn Larson said it was the first time he cried out loud after reading Moore's script and made him decide to approve a motion picture for BSG in 2011. This final three episode arc is apparently better than the New Caprica arc. Has Emmy written all over it. RIP Galactica, she was a fine ship.

It's just a shame i didn't know all the storyline bits in here :P as i havn't seen the later episodes of season 4 (from 4.5 onwards that is) but don't worry, there wasn't enough spoilers in there to give me the whole storyline, just a nice taster of what was to come :P

Don't worry about it, i'm sure it can't reveal all of season 4.5 in 3 minutes :P especially as i'm hearing they are throwing in some huge plots now. And i think their trailers in a way give away huge parts of the plot. This mixes the other seasons in nicely with the bits i havn't seen to make it interesting and new for me :P

That's what I think when I watch some other peep's videos on here. I totally wish I could master Sony Vegas. I just can't let go of my Pinnacle editing suite though because it's all I know.
