@Lrdvltr None of the tracks featured on The Bipolar EP sound anything like a Ferry Corsten or Tiesto song... It's so sad to see people like you generalizing the exciting changes in dance music. This track is quite unique compared to Zo's previous work and in fact, very distinct from what any other EDM producers release. Change is good; it drives creativity and pushes artistry in a forward direction.

Since Mat Zo started producing his production skills went up but creativity has gone down, he used to be my favorite producer but.. there is nothing exciting about his stuff these days, and to be honest so much of his stuff all sounds the same.

His music is meant to be grooved to on the dance floor. There are also a shit ton of other trance artists that encompass their own unique sound just as Mat Zo does. But the two songs he made with Arty were incredible, Rebound has wonderful sounds, rythms and melodies and Mozart is just addicting. The songs he was making before were not so good, Back in Time or 24 hours do not have this thing exceptional Mat Zo makes now. Frequency Flyer was very beautiful and his remixes had a good Electrified Dub inspiration. Just Enjou :)

trance music was for decades discribed as music that activates and excites your mind and paralyses your body, dancing was never the aim. so if you like this song and the other new releases then you like HOUSE not TRANCE.
I don't know why people have an issue with artists/djs experimenting with different styles of their genre, musicians bring different styles together because believe it or not it sounds good, house and trance have always been like yin and yang to each other and many house artists have made tracks that have a trance feel to them. If you don't like it then do what the normal person does, search for new shit you like on youtube. Did I resolve your issue with djs more successful then you?

Anjuna invented this vibe right here, although the music and sounds have changed, the original uplifting, fun, feel-good vibe that Anjuna is famous for has not. That's why I like them and believe they don't owe us any more or less than what they're putting out.

yes this EP is not really trance...but guys if you do not like anything other than trance, you are free not to listen to this EP....mat zo don't fucking care about you, he makes music for mass audience, not only for YOU! personally i mainly listen to trance, but from time to time, i do enjoy some house, minimal, tech, D&B and i am very diverse...and this EP, i enjoy it a lot, Matzo did the right balance between trance and other Genres!
