Yup, I think the Chinese gov't should give a referendum to TIbetans eventually to see if they want to separate. I don't know if they really want to- I've heard too many people say that they MUST want to separate though. In the end, that is up to Tibetans. I don't think a referendum is possible now, since it would show extremists that violence riots is what is needed to get the gov't to pay attention to them, which is a very bad idea.

Yup, I think the Chinese gov't should give a referendum to TIbetans eventually to see if they want to separate. I don't know if they really want to- I've heard too many people say that they MUST want to separate though. In the end, that is up to Tibetans. I don't think a referendum is possible now, since it would show extremists that violence riots is what is needed to get the gov't to pay attention to them, which is a very bad idea.
