  • Hey my friend you play pretty good nice tune

  • wonderful timing on the backing track, exactly fast enough, you make people even forget to comment

    wonderful

  • great feel, timing, u just need to concentrate on targeting the notes on each chord and then you'll sound like a pro!

  • I like it

  • what scale are you using? is there some arpeggios in there too?

  • Would you be so kind as to upload the backing track only?

Keep up the good work and listen to your own playing.

  • COOL

  • That my children is called "making love to your guitar".

  • nice

  • Awsome

  • nice !

  • great phrasing!

  • Interesting how you manage to get such a pointy and short-pacing sound on the Emperor (except for the few bassy phrases of course).

Which strings (and what strength) and what kind of pick did you use?

    Keep up the good work!

  • This reminds me of Chet Atkins

  • Quel sens de la mélodie, je suis impressionné !

La gamme est parfaitement maitrisée, mes oreilles se souviendront longtemps de votre improvisation ...

  • That is great playing...really great 5 stars not really swing though...but whatever it is excellent playing!

  • @musicprodave the name of the piece is Minor Swing if you didnt know, by the great Django Reinhardt =)

  • great playing, nice melodies. work a little on your timing, so it keeps the swing.

  • At first I was like, uhh?. After 0:22 I was like, yeah he can play for sure aha. Good play mate!

  • Oh GOD ! 5 Stairs , Very COOL ! =')

  • Just...amazing.

  • Thanks!

  • some melody please.

  • did you just say some melody please? Do you know what melody is? because that comment showed that you have absolutely no idea what your talking about... Melody is the "lead" of a song if you want to call it that... But your talking about him shredding too much? Well then your crazy, cause this is wicked lyrical and well thought out. But maybe you just wanted to see someone use the pentatonic scale..

  • wow, don't remember commenting,oh well. You play very well, but there just wasn't much being said with what was being played.save a few good moments,it seemed a practice of patterns and scales, which most people do when they're not experienced with improvisation.I'm glad there wasn't a pentatonic run in there.Bottom line,as a criticism meant to be constructive,i hope u keep up the improv practice and focus on phrasing melodies that sing and that go somewhere more than to the end of a finger pattern.

  • ..fuckin django. =)

  • i cant wait to get my joe pass

  • verry nice Manouche cool

  • what scales or arpeggios do use over it??

    btw it soiunds mint

  • Way cool sound. Reminds me somewhat of gypsy jazz guitar.

Are you using 12 gauge flats? Also how are you getting such a bright sound?

    Very very cool :)

  • Whoaaa!

  • where'd you get the backing track? i wanna make a video of this song with a "grandpas" guitar

  • There's an excellent backing track on the CD of one of the earlier Total Guitar magazines (issue 16 or something like that). This backing track was on one of my dad's CDs, although I'm afraid I don't know where he got it from...

  • It is the backing track of Robin Nolan. (from the first book)

  • ...you play very fast!!bravo!!!

  • Thanks :)

  • your good but vibrato is not really jazz guitar like. I notice that you used it almost everytime that you ended a phase

  • I know, but then again, I'm not really a jazz player :)

  • the phrases question seems to stop the conversation and sounds like 2 past lovers having 1 sentence arguments, with silence inbetween.

lover1.you fat bald fucker, you never raised your hands off your penis "vibrato" once to help me clean the house.

lover2: oh yeah! " vibrato" you you milk loving disease of a woman! you only cleand the house when john the milk man came over

    instead of:

you never helped me clean.. vibrato

you cheated on me ... vibrato

  • Nice how long u been playing?

  • damn so awesome do you have some pattern that you use to improvise or its all progressions?

could you tell me what scale do you use to have that jazzy sound?

or how to introduce the cromatisms

i would apreciate your answer if you could in a personal message.

  • brilliant

  • Thanks :)
