i find rollins a bit artificial as an interviewer. i mean, i don't know the guy personally and therefore it's quite possible, that he's always like that.
Damn, it was the first part of the 80-s! I can't believe a thin, fragile-looking young man could be rescuing people from burning buildings and doing all that heroic shit. He totally must have been breaking a cliche back then.
Henry is one of the few interviewers now a days that actually asks a question and listens to the answer. I've given up watching most interview shows because the host is more interested in being funny or trying to be the focus then actually listening to the interviewee. Henry is direct and serious. We need more people like him.
Rollins has done a lot for culture in America, and although is style is quite unconventional this show is great! Steve Buscemi is great and so is Rollins.
@AnonTbomb Well, Im used to seeing him screaming into a microphone all the way back to Black Flag so he does seem subdued in comparison but I think he is
pretty good at this. At least hes still doing something so many from the Punk/Hardcore generation are dead of drugs or misfortune or just unheard of now.
He wasnt my fave singer of Black Flag, but I still like him.

@MacDonald1
And he responds in a thoughtful and serious way too. Loved their talk about firefighters and the concept of heroism.

@AliceDamnation Yea, you couldnt find too more unconventional people than these too, but what a great interview.

I always this show. Rollins seems so out of his element, he acts like this emotionless robot for some reason.
