Anne, That was so beautiful. My wife came in about half-way through and saw me crying and giving scritches to my little cockatiel, Emily; one of 10 birds we've rescued. We volunteer at a bird hospital/bird rescue and appreciate the kindness that other people show toward birds in need.

Nicole, look up the local parrot rescue sanctuaries in your area, you can volunteer your time to help out, or volunteer to be a 'safe-house' for needy birds when the rescue sanctuary is over run(as they usually are) There are many ways you can help, but the first step is, contact the sanctuaries and tell them of your enthusiasm and desire to help these beautiful angels.

it breaks my heart to see such beautiful creatures abused and not cared for. God gave us such a planet with abundance of food, and life and man as we know it in its selfish, greedy state, cares not for these creatures or its own people, but just for how itself can gain in money and powers.
