lol T2 is a total BK i mean you have to get the lazer on this map, it is the most important thing. also you gotta get the warthogs as well. but personally i don't like maps with sprtan lazers or warthogs. its all about heretic, the pit, and guardian

Standoff can't be MLG. It focuses on the vehicles, hence the rockets and lazer. MLG doesn't have any vehicles. If a Sniper was added, like placed where the lazer would be for mlg variants, it would be so cruel. No vehicles + open map + sniper = dead.

If you tried to have some classic no vehicles and no lazer/sniper stuff, then the rockets/camo would get an easy overkill. It would be reduced to camping in the base. Remove any of those two powers and the map would be too bland.

its ok the strategy buuut! you forgot something and this is very usual! the freaking warthog, make sure you grab the laser and rip those asses.

what about circling around the ridicuouls outside spawn points at the camo and near the turrets on a warthog till the other team gets so pissed off and quits, thats a good strategy

The main thing about this level is the laser. There are vehicles (Warthog) on this map which T2 fails to mention. True, one guy grabbing rockets and camo is a great strategy, but I use this strategy to help my teammates grab the laser. I play with the Halo 3 WheelMen and we run this map very well in BTB. We rarely lose. The rest of the game is using your warthogs effectively and the guys on your BR rock and Rocket rock peppering fire on the opposing defense.

BTB and matchmaking takes as much strategy as MLG. There are some really good BTB teams out there that are a part of leagues. It's pretty serious, but perhaps you're too stubborn to see that.

My personal thing is to kill the other teams vehicles with the rockets, not the players. I mean you only get two rockets.

The key elements on every map is power weapons. Whether its a sniper, or rockets or whatever you have, controlling these will give your team the edge.
