Not a good idea to stop either as once water gets between the clutch plates they could slip.A bow wave is only useful if you have a tarp on the front to create a air cavity in the engine bay.I crossed the Jardine River up at Cape York in an old FJ45 which is a petrol with just a tarp and no snorkel.Never go that quick into water as hitting a submerged rock could rip the diff clean out of the truck.You do know that once the stickers are off who knows its a ex rental? Brought a used 4x4 lately?

the faster you go the more water is gonna flood your engine bay and possibly drown your engine, if you need or want to go that fast go in reverse. XD
