  • Hey dude, that was awesome! If the Cocteau Twins would have done a video to this song,- it would look just like this! You just keep the nice work up! (Soory for my eng.) Cheers from Berlin

  • My all time favorite Cocteau Twins tune thx, nice vid to go with it thanks

  • Chicken pot pie!

  • This song reminds me of the wizard of oz . . .

  • wow, very nice, thank you... beautiful.

  • man if this doesnt SOUND LIKE CHRISTMAS...... I don't know what does......all year round.

  • V i c t o r i a t o r i a l a n d

  • This is my favourite song on Victorialand, I like unusual sounds. :-) You should search Day Serene, the guitar sounds are kinda similar.

  • wooooooooooooooooooooooooooow

  • Exquisite.

  • TMC! Classic compilations of 4ad bands. As a matter of fact not to long ago Liz and Lisa did do a song together I found it on Lime Wire. I can't remember the name. I will look it up and post later.

  • Yes I often have 'DCD' moments like that too. :-D

The TMC collaborations were amazing. Pure genius by Ivo to get them together to produce such magic. Hope you find the Liz and Lisa song - let me know, eh!

  • Don't ask me why I put DCD. I think I had to much to drink that night. Sorry! Great video! VictoriaLand is still my favorite CT's album. Been listening to them since early 80's.

  • Dead Can Dance!!!!!!!!

  • Is that a request, or a statement of fact? ;-)

  • The closest thing Dead Can Dance and Cocteau Twins came to ever really working on a couple songs together was on It'll end in tears, This mortal coil's first album. Both bands are golden gems.

  • Thanks John,

Is that the actual video to that song, or did you make that video. It's very nice!

I'm an old cocteau twins fan. It's neat to see so many others! Take care

  • Thanks mate! I'm an old CT fan too :D Sadly, they didn't make a video to any of the Victorialand songs so I had to improvise. Glad you like it.

  • man, we're all getting pretty old here ... but the music remains timeless - thanks for the fitting imagery (nice job) !

  • I don't know why this song brings me the image of women picking up the crop on a vast plantation while singing this.

  • lol - love that imagery 8D

  • cool..cool..great song

  • This song is definitly spacey.

    Maybe more than a little.

This takes me away to the mysical ice lands of Antarctica where Im swaying around with the penquins and the clouds are pink and those cute little vocals put me into a state of pure bliss.

Sadness does not exist in ct world, they are pure love, though they might not even realize it themselves.

  • I hear all emotions in their music, sadness, sweetness, anger, confusion, Joy, wonder and bliss. That is why it is so beautiful. Elizabeth's undecipherable lyrics was her way of dealing with the memory of being abused as a child, the Drugs and being heartbroken.

  • yeah i just knew when i heard they were making frosty the snowman that it would be good....cuase there music prances like this...

  • this reminds me of christmas this song always did so the vid works great stuff, love all there albums been a huge fan since i heard them on the john peel show all those years ago

  • thank you

  • you are very welcome. and right back at ya!

  • milkandkisses life is new baby wonderful thanks for asking. hope you had a great christmas. have a wonderful new year my friend ;-)

  • New Baby! Yay congrats. Christmas was great. You have a wonderful new year too my friend. Be Well. :D

  • espectacular!!! with this music i can write a lot of poems...

  • Hello all...!

This is really great, great stuff. I've been a fan since 1982 (sorry to date myself); however, this imagery is well aquanted. I use to make my nephews' go to sleep with this CD - "Victorialand." And it still remains close to my soul.

    Best,

    Michael

  • hi Michael, i hope your nephew is grateful for the beautiful music you introduced him to.

I play this to my newborn son - i started playing it to him while he was still in the womb. i can't think of a better voice to sing bedtime lullabies than Elizabeth's!

  • i feel like im in a technicolor daydream riding the merry go round.

  • One of my favorite Cocteau Twins songs ! the visuals you provide go so well with the music a delight to hear and see! Thanks many thanks!!!

  • Sometimes only the beauty of nature can provide the appropriate visual partner to the music of CT - thanks it was great

  • This song makes me feel like a child, I can even see people dancing a valzer... :)

  • Lovely.

  • This music inspire me to make art and dance around the house. Liz is an angel.

  • i agree:-) would love to see the vid of you making art and dancing around the house to the CTs 8-)

  • LIZ has such control over her amazing voice!!

i can remember at the time her singing coach

commented, that liz had the most amazing voice

    out of all her clients!!!!.

  • so peaceful and dreamy - lovely
