I also collect SAK's, as well as MT's. I think Vic had to come up with a more polished well made MT. Some of their first attempts weren't that great, like the AutoTool. Once they bought out Bears & Sons and got the patent to have the ability to open the tools without opening the pliers they've produced well made tools that are competitive if not better, in some cases, than Leatherman. Does if feel odd that the main blade is on what would be the back on a leatherman? the saw on this is where the main blade of a leatherman is.

BTW, Everyone. I used this tool this past Thursday to assemble and hang a wall cabinet above my toilet. This tool did everything perfectly.
