SARAH PALIN WAS GOVERNER OF ALASKA LETS BE SERIOUS THAT PROBALY THE EASIEST STATE TO RUN I WANT HER TO TRY TO RUN A STATE WITH HIGH CRIME RATE LIKE ILLINOIS OR LOUSIANIA WERE THERES LOTS OF POVERTY AND PROBLEMS
In my opinion, the Bush is a class family but Mrs. Bush met Gov Palin and she has an opinion on her qualifications? Sometimes the most honorable action is to say "no comment" or "I do not have enough info to voice an opinion".
"If We Do the Possible, God Will Do the Impossible"
Palin, Obama, McCain, Bush Jr / Sr, both Clintons, Cheney, Pelosi, Biden, etc are ALL corporate whores who adhere to an IDENTICAL foreign and fiscal policy. They ALL support a Keynesian economic model and an interventionist foreign policy. That's why Bush initiated the bailouts and Obama carried them out. Bush appointed Bernake to the Fed chair and Obama reappointed him. Obama has carried out the Neo-Con war strategy as well. They're all Republicrats who differ very little where it matters most
Love Barbara Bush honesty ! My thoughts are to move all the tea baggers i/e republicans to Alaska and let the rest of America be free and live in Peace!
@JacOLanternMovies Why are you attacking her personally? They asked her a question and she responded. She did not attack Sarah Palin personally nor said something mean about her.
And she is right, Sarah Palin should stay in Alaska and learn that Africa is not a country, but a continent, North Korea is not our ally, South Korea is and learn what NAFTA is before she decides to run for the presidency in 2012. Who knows, perhaps she can pick Christine O'Donnell as her Vice President.
@JacOLanternMovies The big difference is that every knows that Obama is smart and made a slip of the tongue. Obama, like Clinton, have impeccable pedigrees.
Leash or Leach,,,, Bud,,,, Leash or Leach,, Not that it makes any difference.
Barbra put it so elegantly with her suthun charm. With all this hollyweird showboating. I just can't believe any of them. I do agree it must have been " Ghost written" ? How many pearl necklaces does she have on dam!
I'd rather have a "Tea Party" candidate than any Bush. As to the "book" I'll bet he didn't write it. It was no doubt 'ghost written' by either Scooter Libby, Bill Kristol, Ari Fleischer, Jack Abramoff, Michael Chertoff, Rahm Emanuel or some other Jew who had him on a leash.
I'm conservative, but I'd never vote for her! She says all the right things, yet her actions speak louder then words! Endorsing Juan Mccain, he's the biggest RINO there is! Palin is our version of BHO! ALL TALK! DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE!
GHW Bush doesn't know what the Tea Party is? Ha ha. I hope Sarah stays there too. Crazy ass fame whore. I would bet that she had sex with Bristol's boyfriend, whoever he is.
That smirk on Mrs. Bushes face is so nasty and maniacal looking, one has to wonder how much of a total B****ch she is? And Bush1, you're confessed? I guess I would be too if I used the US Constitution as toilet paper.
That smirk on Mrs. Bushes face is so nasty and maniacal looking, one has to wonder how much of a total B****ch she is? And Bush1, you're confessed? I guess I would be too if I used the US Constitution as toilet paper like Clinton, Bush2 and BO has and people are just pointing it out and taking a stand finally against it. So yes I guess you are confused. Our country with your help is swirling down the toilet along with our US Constitution you used to wipe your behind.
dubya is the second worst potus of all time next to this radical affirmative action monkey gone wild , oboobbo the chimp , dubya did only one thing right in 8years and that was a wilingness to kill camel turd eating sand ni55er moslems any where he could find em " less
Man if Michelle Obama had said this! How about if Michelle had said "Don't retreat, reload"! Or even if the Mrs. Obama was shown with a rifle in her hands like Palin?!!
I think the Bush's are NOT in touch with the people. The Bush's are rhinos that need to stay retired in TX and let the People take back OUR country. Sarah must really scare all you rhinos. And let remember Barbara Bush famous words "I'm just a gray hair grandmother". My questions is HOW can anyone be just a JUST. We have had ALL of the Bush's we want running Our Country and States. Rhino's like the Bush's need to understand that they are not in charge anymore. Kess48
@Kess I'm no RINO. I'd vote for a quality conservative candidate, even to the right of Palin, in a heartbeat and wish Jindal had a better media presence. Still, Palin scares the hell out of me because I just don't think she is very knowledgeable, especially on foreign policy. I agree with her on a lot of issues, but a President without a deep knowledge of international affairs who relies blindly on advisors risks getting a lot of young American men and women killed through his or her folly.
@MrKess48 LOL! How can you say the Bush's are RINO'S. Oh that's right, if you don't back Palin you're a RINO! LOL I'm conservative, and I don't back Palin. Before you throw around the RINO Accusations! Check who endorsed the Biggest RINO. Oh yeah that's right Your beloved Palin! Palin is our version of BHO!
@dastaylor Oh, yeah, they're really smart; they married rich. Sarah on the other hand DID not marry rich and,... is,... uh,... doing quite well for herself and her family. So whose the smarties in this picture?
I don't think two women who believe in the slaughter of the unborn are smart. They sure wouldn't slaughter their unborn, but they think its fine that you would.
@maxellmusic Yeah Sarah is doing quite well, attacking others for profit all the while trying to make herself blame free. Her phony "Patriot," attitude and polarizing views have done wonders for solving the problems of the world. Her selling out her family on national television and leaving her special needs child every chance she gets are all characteristics of a great mother.
Being pro-choice isn't agreeing with abortion but agreeing that women have the right to choose.
Even tho this will have no impact on Sarah Palin, it's completely amusing. Sarah is everything I despise about politicians and a lot more. Sarah is the #2 woman in America that makes being dumb fashionable (Paris Hilton is #1). I love this little jab.
I just received a letter and certificate award for my support of the Republican Party from G Bush asking for donation. I sent it back saying, in essence, Palin (1) Doesn't need his mother's endorsement. (2) Palin hasn't asked for it. (3) Having been said on Larry King, it's a joke and a boost for Palin. Had this commentary not been started by one of his 2 fans, it could have been just as effective on another planet.
Hayek89 is like all libs, they spout off statements they can't back up and do it so often, like a bunch of parrots, thinking someone will believe them. Those still drinking the kool-aid will believe it. Most can't spell their own name.
Palin even scares the shit out of this old RINO too, good, I love it. You go Sarah. Barbara admitted she was pro abortion, pepole like that can't handle the real thing.
God is going to punish those who disreguard innocent life. We don't deserve a Sarah Palin we are too corrupt. Pray people this Country in in for a rude awakening!
@irishamrep THANK GOD! Hopefully all these old illuminati members and old fucks who have ruined our nation and the rest of the world will die off soon!
@spandexxx She wasn't running for anything...she lost nothing. The people that seek control over Gov't...instead of Gov't control...have benefited through her work.
This isn't a referendum on Palin for Pres.
So If Sarah sat down your fine with Barrack? Is that what you just said?
@spandexxx Dividing what? A lighter shade of blue? Democrud pale? Stand for something man! Why have two parties if neither looks different? I don't care about what's en vogue. Get the people back in charge or have you not noticed what's going on yet?
Just check out food regulations and decipher those bills and let me know where the food money chain connects too. Yeah I said your food. Monsanto, Food safety Bill, Supplement Bill, Want the actual numbers of the bills, I have them. Total control.
@spandexxx GOOD! I hope she DOES divide the Republican party; there needs to be a stark difference between R & D. It's time for the Republicans to actually be like REAGAN (conservative) and not like BUSH (liberal). I think they (the Bushes) should be hauled out like the elite trash they are and let the PEOPLE actually run the country.
@pettyofficer30 Governor Palin did what was BEST for Alaska and at the time of her resignation, she explained why. Why is that not good enough? How many politicians do what is the WORST for their voters and the BEST for themselves? That's all we have, practically.
Look at it this way, by her resigning, she provided someone else a job in this tough economy since she could take care of herself and her family in other ways.
@maxellmusic Agreed. As of now, Palin has harmed no one. Yes, she has openly criticized others, oftentimes by merely bringing up their own statements used earlier in their careers. And that is referred to as "bullying."
Fahayek89: OK, I'm going to do this in here so I don't embarrass you and your conspiracy theorist friend in the room. I normally try to keep things civil, but you obviously don't get sarcasm, which the above statement would clearly be recognized as for anyone with ten working brain cells. I also try to avoid these personal interactions, but the things you've stated on the page are so illogical and unsupported that I'm just going to lay this out for you very clearly and simply -- no big words:
@aruba91961 Well, feel free to post the rest. For instance: I'm not the illuminati because there are no illuminati. CFR doesn't run the world, though they do publish a pretty good journal that includes a lot of scholars who have serious disagreements with each other.
Skull and Bones is an overgrown group of frat boys. Being that they go to one of the most prestigious universities in the world, they do tend to find themselves in a lot of prominent positions. They may even help each other out after college, but they don't rule the world either. There is no global conspiracy.
@FAHayek89:Post it yourself..what problem is there with your own words? Yet we are still at an impasse..what does Haylek89 stand for?
I didn't say I liked Palin, nor did I say you were a liberal, nor did I say I was a conservative, yet you posted to my personal page, as a decoy.
Speak as a man, stand for what you speak,or be cast aside. This isn't some foolish game we are playing here. I don't care who wins with the most toys..this might be the beginning of something your generation can't win
@aruba91961 What exactly is "this?" What generation do you assume to be mine, and what and whom do you suppose we are fighting? What is it we are trying to win and what is our opponent trying to win?
@FAHayek89: The obfuscation is a running theme that perhaps you may or may not ever conquer. I have asked in a very simple manner...what does hayek89 stand for...asking what is "this?" is an obfuscation.
I asked you to speak as a man...perhaps you are a woman, but woman, albeit can be confusing, do no resort to inane and prolonged posits that comply with sheer preponderance of one that has no coherent thesis to convince.
@aruba91961 Nothing could be more clear than the fact that FAHayek stands for F.A. Hayek. Should that need to be explained? "This" is obsecure, but it was your word : ".....this might be the beginning of something your generation can't win"
So again, I ask, what do you mean by "this?" What is "this" unwinnable thing, and who is fighting for it. What are you talking about in your statement? Who is fighting, over what, and where do you assume me or my "generation" to be in that fight?
@FAHayek89 Is it a stand that you actually want to defend? I say that because this is exactly how a person gets attacked, RE: by what has been perpetuated by you all night; visa vie ...why we are still talking.
I took a stand...many folks took a stand...you didn't like those stands and you attacked. Now I want to know what does the attacker stand for?
Geez guy...I can Monday morning quarterback, now I'm asking you to run the team.
Do it or just stop giving your ignorant opinion, it's not fact.
- a foreign policy based on a combination of offshore balancing and selective engagement, leaning more towards the former; also one that accepts diplomacy as a good thing
I could go on, but again, would ask what issue you’d like to know about.
Palin may agree with me on many of these issues (though not all). I also want someone with the courage to make unpopular decisions and the intelligence and wisdom to make decisions in a crisis. I don’t personally think she meets that bill.
@FAHayek89 And I think that relying on political leaders on both sides of the isle who look "right" on the issues and excite people, but don't have the wisdom and experience to make tough, complicated decisions has cost us a high price in money and blood in recent history.
@FAHayek89: Possibly you missed the train, I got directed here not to defend Palin. This is about the Bush senior, perhaps both as I won't speak for everyone.
GWHB is a globalist, Palin is not...one needs to be smarter that Palin and more connected than her to be in with the in crowd. One needs to be more Egocentric...she isn't, OK so she has a show...you would turn it down because why? Oh, your above that cheap money or what? NADA baby...we would all take the deal, how about, T.OCHO show. NOT!
hayek seems to have slowed down. If hayek (no caps) had read the full report on the Alaska case against Palin, hayek would have found that the man she fired placed a poster of that officer, depicting him as a model for Alaskan troopers, to be posted all over the state and asked her to sign it.
I would have fired him on the spot. Get your facts straight, hayek. She did the right thing resigning so that controversy, due to lib media, would not interfere with State Government.
@aruba91961 I might take the deal if I didn’t already have a contract with the people who elected me. If I was an elected representative, I would complete my term and my obligation. Most members of Congress, as much as I dislike many of them, have made and could continue to make far more on the outside. Lucrative deals do not excuse stepping down from office halfway through a single term. Why should I assume she would continue in the Presidency if she got a better deal or took a little heat?
@aruba91961 I understand that you aren't stumping for her, but a lot of people here are. I find her quite egocentric. Her latest messianic claim is that she is personally going to fix the corrupt media using her communications degree.
I wasn’t the biggest H.W. fan, but he was far more competent on foreign policy than most if not all of his successors and certainly had a better record of accomplishment in use of the military. I can only imagine what Palin would do as C-in-C.
@FAHayek89: crikey...so all the dramatics was over nothing I guess.
I'm not going to reiterate, for I have indeed asked you what you stood for, so you finally took a stand and to rub your nose in it is not mature.
I will bet that, 80-90% of the folks here agree with the four points you have illustrated. Yeah some like Palin, possibly it is just the refreshing honesty and not her "brilliance" that endears her. Me included. As Pres...no. As a person that is currently doing what she does...yes
@FAHayek89 You don't want to raise taxes right now - the economy has GOT to get back on track first. If you really want to raise revenues, end the HUGE tax breaks that the ultra rich (Gates, Buffet, etc.) get. Remember, Warren Buffet pays less in taxes per year than his secretary!!
@bjusticeforever I don't disagree on taxes. I think the debt issue is a national security issue and is so bad that we need to put everything on the table, but my instinct is to protect the vast majority on taxes while the economy is this bad. At the same time, I would have voted against the Bush tax cuts in the first place, not because I don't like tax cuts, but because they were not offset with spending cuts.
Old 41---still out of it. He lost the election in '92 to Slick Willie for the same reason he now doesn't "understand" the Tea Party; he is just clueless. A nice old fart but clueless.
@fleurx2 Look at the old motherf***ers hair! He's not even sure what room he's in let alone what the hell he's saying. And tell that old elitist bitch to change her depends.
Now, may I say one thing to former prez Bush to try to clue him in?
How's this for starters re the Tea Party-$13 TRILLION dollar fed debt; TARP; Stimulus Package; Obamacare; Cap & Trade; corruption up the taxpayers' whazoo; Louisiana Purchase of 2010; Cornhuskers Kickback; Nancy Pelosi; Harry Reid; Fannie & Freddie; backroom deals cut at midnight behind closed doors.
I for got Bush One was married to George Washington....but i have to give it to old George Washington on this...what a zinger against Palin "I think she should stay there" LOL
I think it is obvious that the old Patriarch is not that close to the daily politics anymore. One of the points he misses is that the days are over when the "leaders" were elected and then went to DC to do whatever the hell they wanted because we were not paying attention any longer. We are holding their feet to the fire from now on...
I think he really doesn't understand the tea party because the Tea Party is all about limited Constitutional Gov't. Both Bush's were 'progressives', which means progressively, in small steps, eliminate the Constitution. The elites can't stand the thought that people be allowed to determine their own destiny. They all believe that only they can properly tell people how to live their lives. Hopefully, people are starting to get it.
@hillaryTex Very good point, and a lot more useful than the comments by Edward & Fahayek. You can tell they have no clue, just libs being vindictive. While they were taking us to statism in baby steps, they allowed Obuma and the Dems to take us to full on communism. I am not surprised they don't understand the Tea Party and neither do any libs. American Progressive = Communist !!
Hayek89 is probably either Lebanese or Jordanian. An arab. Of course it could be the actress who is mexican and lebanese / jordanian and supports all the illegal invaders and the arab population.
Bush is a part of the Illuminati, those who are trying to take over the world. Mrs Bush needs to stay off TV. Larry King is an arrogant _ _ _. I have had dinner with him in Hillsboro Beach , Florida. He and his girl friend and another couple at a private party. He is just one of the tiring Liberal progressives who ask questions of guest, who know what he will ask, and have their answers fed to them.
Surprising, that Barbara Bush would go along with this garbage, They are Global Gov. supporters.
The true Hayek has shown themselves. This is what most libs don't understand and are not prepared for. The South has risen again. Their comment to me below.
FAHayek89 has posted a comment on your profile:
Be careful my friend. The all Seeing Eye is everywhere. We will deny it, but we will not continence serious dissent. You have been warned.

@theharv3 Granddaddy Bush was a collaborator with the Nazi Party...so "the acorn doesn't fall too far from the tree" with his children, etc. When I saw the title of this video I knew it was propaganda time for the progressives. I think Sarah Palin has more guts than most.
TheKingB: About Sarah Palin . . . I like her very much; I think she's a nice, smart lady who has really helped the Republican Party in the mid term election. I think she's also a great campaigner and fund raiser. But let's NOT kid ourselves. If the GOP doesn't put up the strongest candidate they can possibly find, then Obama WILL GET a second term. It's as simple as that. I don't think Sarah Palin can beat him. We need somone like Pence, Christy, Perry, or maybe Romney.
Sorry- The gop could draft a chimp to run against obama and win handily... A chimp could run as an independent and win for that matter. At least the chimp can screech Without a teleprompter.
@play2k2000 Don't think for one minute that the Democrat Party machine isn't going to play every dirty card (including probably race) they hold to plow under any GOP Candidate in 2012. If the Republicans get too cocky thinking the 2012 election will be a slam dunk, they will probably lose. That's why I said we need the STRONGEST candidate we can find. They (the Dems) play a very dirty game.
Even though Obama is ruining our great Country, there are still many out there that just DON'T get it.
@play2k2000 That's what the GOP said in 1994. There are plenty of good potential conservatives out there, but if you run Palin, expect to lose. 37% of the population approve of her, 55% disapprove. If independents alone are sampled, approval increases a whooping 1 point to 38%. Be warned. Run a strong candidate and do the right things in Congress and 2008 is winnable. Be arrogant and you ensure four more years of Barry.
@Hpachoju Dunno about Pence, Christy, or Romney; but I'll be damned if I'll vote for Perry for president. I live in Texas, and he tried to force young girls in our state to be inoculated with the human papilloma virus (or anti-virus) with an emergency governor order. AFTER HE RECEIVED A $10,000 CONTRIBUTION FROM THE DRUG MAKER. Fuck Perry. He's ALMOST as bad as Barrack 'muslim' Obama. The media would have a FIELD DAY with his checkered background. He's as dirty as a coalminer's underwear.
To TheKingB: I wouldn't call GHWB a progressive. Progressives are someone like Obama, Kerry, or The Clintons. You have to admit that GHWB is far from their liberal ways. Let's call him a moderate conservative. Isn't that a better analysis?
@Hpachoju I don't think so. There is a lot you don't know about the Bush's apparently. They are into the Global Govt and gave rise to the communist Obuma. As well as many other presidents before. Ronald Reagan was one who didn't seem to go along with that...hence the attempt on his life.
@getsmart500 The attempt on Ronald Reagan's life had nothing to do with Politics. Hinkely (the shooter) was a loon who was crazed over a famous movie star (I think Jody Foster as I recall) and tried to gain her attention by this stupid ridiculous act. You can read up on it if you Google it. And by the way . . . I know a lot about the Bush family. I've studied their history for years. Your Global Govt comment is kind of out there -- don't you think?
The comments that most bother me were the comments on Sarah Palin's qualifications. Whether she finished a complete term as governor is immaterial. What she did or caused to be done is very significant. She cleaned up a cesspool of political corruption in Alaska. Obama served two years as a senator and contributed nothing but mayhem. And even now the jury is out questioning if he is in fact an American Citizen. Its too bad so many people drank the cool-aide.
@MegaBoricua72 It is immaterial that someone made in implicit contract to the electorate to represent them for four years, then choose not to do so because the heat was too hot and alternative was more lucrative? That sounds like a lack of public service and fortitude. What it then be OK if she resigned as President after she pushed a few bills through Congress?
Of course, if you are a birther, then there is not point in trying to have a rational discussion.
@FAHayek89 What you libs will never get is that Obuma and gang sent numerous 'empty' lawsuits at Palin...rather than tie up the state's resources and her life with this wicked nonsense...she did a smart thing and quit her job...and has been kicking Obuma's and the liberal progressive's tail ever since. If you were not such a sniveling little worm 89, you would get that!
@getsmart500 So if you don't back Palin, you're a lib, or a RINO. So you're like the LIB'S, Freedom of speech, if it fit's your agenda, or if you agree. If you disagree, you need to be censored. Funny, I'm conservative, yet I don't support Palin! Who endorsed the biggest RINO! Juan Mccain was endorsed by Palin!
@MegaBoricua72 I like that Mega! An AK citizen wrote a letter detailing several accomplishments of Mrs. Palin while in AK....published by the Canada Free Press a few years ago. You're right, at least Palin is a citizen of the USA.
I'm surprised that GHWB doesn't understand the TEA Party; however, for those of you that want to put him down for that statement, let me remind you that GHWB is a war hero shot down in WWII, he ran the CIA at one point in time, became VP, President of the U.S, and raised a son with high integrity that saved us from possible terror attacks for 7 1/2 years. So the point is before you put him down for the TEA Party statement, don't be so quick to judge. Let's give a good man a break for a change.
TRUE....BUT HE STILL IS AN ESTABLISHMENT PROGRESSIVE.......AND SARAH WOULD NEVER BE INVITED TO THEIR PARTIES......I REALLY DON'T THINK SHE LIKES THEM EITHER;BUT SHE IS CLASSIER
How the devil can you "not get" the tea party?! GH, we know you're not an idiot, so don't try to act like one. And, many thanks to you Barbara for showing us a sneak peak into what REALLY goes on behind the scenes of the GOP. DC is full of elitists from both the Democraps & the Repubicans. If you don't go to the right schools and kiss the right rings (or behinds) you're a NOBODY as far as they are concerned.
At this point in time, I would say that Palin has more balls than any of the other presidential prospects. The media and Wash DC political machines will vilify anyone that does not walk their way. They did that with Perow making everyone believe he was a "nut". They are doing the same thing with Palin and too many people are buying it. If you want an intellectual ... you get an Obumo! Have we learned a lesson?
@bjusticeforever As a matter of fact, NO...I don't eat any of that shit. I always get the ire of the belligerent meat eaters who call me names left and right. I understand it takes a real man to gun down a defenseless animal. But, of course, the status quo is alive and well.
"If everyone is thinking alike, no one is thinking." -- Ben Franklin
FYI, Franklin was a vegetarian too, and he also took all kinds of flak for that very reason. It doesn't bother me. If anything, it AMUSES me...
if she gets elected maybe jeb can be vice and the bush family can have a family friend try to assassinate her the way they had a family friend named john hinkley try to assassinate reagan
WELL,TWO OLD LIBERAL ESTABLISHMENT REPUBLICANS DON'T KNOW WHAT THE HELL THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT.....YES,THEY ARE AFRAID OF HER IDEAS....GOD BLESS SARAH AND MAY THESE ESTABLISHMENT PROGRESSIVE IDEAS PLEASE GO AWAY.....YEAH!!! ALASKA....AND SIT ON A GLOBAL WARMING DOOMED GLACIER....
this is funny coming from the parents of a man considered the least intellectual president ever in America ... funny thing is I'm a Conservative and good olé mama and daddy Bush seem to what to endorse the 'establishment' .. and who is she to talk, she did not hold office ... she is NOT credible by association ... most importantly, it IS the 'establishment', the Bush's, the Clinton's, etc that created this mess - not you and I
@scottpasinski Hmm...Babs didn't hold office. True. Sarah did. Then again, Sarah couldn't even complete a single term in that office. I'm not sure holding office should be a criterion to speak for a Palin supporter.
What on earth are the old Bush's doing on a Larry King show???
What a waste of their time and ours.
King's giggle at his question to Barbara, had Barbara answering and nodding in agreement to Larry's wrong assessment of the dynamic and NATIONALLY accepted woman of the decade.
I, too, hope that Palin stays in Alaska. Her treatment of animals just totally pisses me off. Gotta kill them there wolves so they don't kill the moose so I can kill them. (that's what's really goin' on.)
Humans really are stupid. Einstein was right. "Two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the universe."
@1stardancer Wow - THAT was intellectual. Ate any chicken nuggets or burgers lately, dumbass? Since your so fucking intelligent, I'll explain a little overpopulation problem in our area-DEER. They tear up lawns, flowerbeds, gardens, etc. and are so overpopulated here, that when a disease is introduced (and it will be eventually) it will WIPE THEM OUT thanks to the no hunting idiots here like yourself. Your are right about one thing - humans (like you) ARE stupid.
Bush can't figure out the Tea Party? What a surprise... He and his dry-drunk son are RINOs pure and simple...
Ever since George the younger talked about how George Washington (I mean Barbara Bush) kept her still-born fetus in a jar in her house, she just creeps me out all the more. The NWO Bushes do not have out interests at heart nor does Obama. Time to wake up people!
Give me a break! GHWB can't figure out the Tea Party? The ex president, CIA director, ambassador etc. is stumped on this one. What a joke! Truth is the Tea Party is scaring the crap out of the old NWO crowd. Better figure them out, George, cause they're not going away. As far as Barbara is concerned, victoriabenn is right on the money.
@1952pointer: Spot on! Exactly what I was thinking.
His love for the NWO comes right from his own mouth and his membership to The Trilateral commission, CFR, Skull and Bones...he is as dirty as they come.
The Republican good ol boys secretly applaud when the Dems and media call them racists to distract the masses from hearing whom everyone should really be fighting against...The Bilderbergers, Rothschilds, TLC, CFR, Illuminatti, Central bankers, yeah those crazy conspiracy theorists...not!
@aruba91961 You forgot the Masons, Shriners, Knights of Columbus, Opus Dei, the Knights of Malta, the Kiwanis, Swiss Guard, the Elk Club, and the Toastmasters.
But given this vast conspiracy, aren’t you afraid to even be posting here. I mean, what if they find you and silence you for the truths that you tell?
Well Barbara I hope you and your NWO commie ideas will stay where you are too. And GH, you are a clueless NWO commie so no wonder you are CONFUSED! You are both clueless.
What a dumb comment Barbara! So unnecessary! Palin is a unique individual, and what the heck clout do the two of you have in speaking as a voice for Conservatism!
Sorry, FAHaye89, but I suspect that Palin has more knowledge of issues and more common sense than you, Biden, Obama, Pelosi, Reid, and all of Obama's czars put together. No surprise that Barbara Bush is kind of liberal. It's a shame that some republicans have fallen for all the garbage warbled by the idiot media. They-and-you-should know better. Learning to think for oneself would be helpful.
@ms48kindagal Yah and add Liberal Laura Bush to the pile. Oh and don't forget wife of RINO McCain-another closet liberal came out of the closet-Cindy McCain and her clueless big mouth daughter. Sorry- had to fix my typo...
@ms48 A nice set of unfounded accusations for which you offer no support.
- I know that Africa is a continent. South Africa is a country.
- I would be happy to list bad Supreme Court decisions. I’ve actually read some (Dred Scott, Korematsu, Roe, and Kelo are good places to start.) I don’t even want to be the one who nominates justices.
- I can name magazines and newspapers that I read regularly.
Score: me 3, Palin 0. Wait, I can’t see Alaska from my porch. I guess that makes it me 3, Palin 1.
Alaska is a welfare state. It receives far more in federal funds that it pays. Alaskans receive a government check of about $1,000 for living there. That doesn’t sound conservative. Why doesn’t Sarah do something about it? She can’t. She isn’t the governor because she couldn’t complete one term.
I’d vote for Jindal. I’ve got no problem with a solid conservative, as long as he has a brain.
By the way, many REAL liberals (not the fake ones who populate the internet - just like fake cons do vs. real ones) realize that leaders come from both sides of the aisle. The problem is that both parties have been hijacked by self-feeding machines. 90% of the problem is this limited two-party system. Break the parties and you break gridlock and force compromise. Sadly, most feel compromise equals defeat. Wanna change the country - for real? Start a new political party. Really.
LOL at Palin being "we the people"... her asking price is $75,000 (min) for a speaking engagement. That's not even one day's work. How much does she donate?
Ya know, I'm as Liberal (which is derived from "liberty" kids) as you can get. Hated Bush One and Bush Two. Honestly, never had a problem with Barbara Bush though. She shot from the hip (like her brat) - but with BRAINS.
Of course, these elitist establishment republicans do not like Palin. She is one of WE THE PEOPLE and they are not. The bushs and other one worlders believe we are not capable of running the country. Look how these supposedly learned have screwed America up.
@Plzzzr Really? People thought that William F. Buckley and Russell Kirk were "dumb?" People called Frank Meyer and Senator Taft dumb? F.A. Hayek and Milton Friedman were called dumb? A lot of people on the left hate Scalia, but I haven't heard many call him dumb. Or were they too liberal?
Of course, they could all have named a newspaper or magazine or two that they read. They all knew that Africa was a continent, not a country.
Calling Palin unqualified hardly makes one a RINO.
@FAHayek89 And I almost forgot. Lest the note on Africa be interpreted to imply that her ignorance was limited to foreign policy, when asked, she could not name a single Supreme Court decision that she disagreed with. Would it at least be too much to expect her to have studied the branches of our own government?
@EdwardP88 Why should Palin tweet about it? She owes this snipey clueless former wife of a president NOTHING. Palin was a successful governor of one of the most important states in the union and has proven herself. The only thing Barbara Bush ever ran is her mouth. She needs to shut up.
@victoriabenn You are aware, of course, that she could not finish a single term as governor of the 4th smallest state in the Union in terms of population. (Charlotte, NC, Columbus, OH, and Fort Worth, TX are larger than Alaska.) How exactly does that qualify as "most important" or "successful?"
You don’t need qualifications to “run your mouth.” Anyone has a right to express an opinion. Personal background has no bearing on the logic of an argument.
Qualifications and background matter in holding office. Palin made a commitment to the people of Alaska . She violated her obligation because it didn’t meet her personal goals and because she realized that she could make more on the circuit. Quitting after half a term isn’t success. It is selfish and reveals deep character flaws.

Speak as a man, stand for what you speak,or be cast aside. This isn't some foolish game we are playing here. I don't care who wins with the most toys..this might be the beginning of something your generation can't win
aruba91961 1 year ago
@aruba91961 What exactly is "this?" What generation do you assume to be mine, and what and whom do you suppose we are fighting? What is it we are trying to win and what is our opponent trying to win?
FAHayek89 1 year ago
@FAHayek89: The obfuscation is a running theme that perhaps you may or may not ever conquer. I have asked in a very simple manner...what does hayek89 stand for...asking what is "this?" is an obfuscation.
I asked you to speak as a man...perhaps you are a woman, but woman, albeit can be confusing, do no resort to inane and prolonged posits that comply with sheer preponderance of one that has no coherent thesis to convince.
aruba91961 1 year ago
@aruba91961 Nothing could be more clear than the fact that FAHayek stands for F.A. Hayek. Should that need to be explained? "This" is obsecure, but it was your word : ".....this might be the beginning of something your generation can't win"
So again, I ask, what do you mean by "this?" What is "this" unwinnable thing, and who is fighting for it. What are you talking about in your statement? Who is fighting, over what, and where do you assume me or my "generation" to be in that fight?
FAHayek89 1 year ago
@aruba91961I'm not even challenging your statement. I simply can't decipher what you are talking about, and I’d honestly like to know.
Of course, if you want a stand on an issue, I’d be happy to give it to you, but you’ve never asked a specific question to provide a thesis.
FAHayek89 1 year ago
@FAHayek89 Is it a stand that you actually want to defend? I say that because this is exactly how a person gets attacked, RE: by what has been perpetuated by you all night; visa vie ...why we are still talking.
I took a stand...many folks took a stand...you didn't like those stands and you attacked. Now I want to know what does the attacker stand for?
Geez guy...I can Monday morning quarterback, now I'm asking you to run the team.
Do it or just stop giving your ignorant opinion, it's not fact.
aruba91961 1 year ago
@aruba91961 I’d be happy to defend a lot of stands if someone actually asked a question. I’d be happy to stand for:
- dramatic decreases in spending, especially in entitlements
- low taxes, but NO tax cuts until spending is cut and the budget is balanced
- a restoration of the tenth amendment, including returning abortion law back to the individual states
- a strict reading of the constitution
FAHayek89 1 year ago
- a foreign policy based on a combination of offshore balancing and selective engagement, leaning more towards the former; also one that accepts diplomacy as a good thing
I could go on, but again, would ask what issue you’d like to know about.
Palin may agree with me on many of these issues (though not all). I also want someone with the courage to make unpopular decisions and the intelligence and wisdom to make decisions in a crisis. I don’t personally think she meets that bill.
FAHayek89 1 year ago
@FAHayek89 And I think that relying on political leaders on both sides of the isle who look "right" on the issues and excite people, but don't have the wisdom and experience to make tough, complicated decisions has cost us a high price in money and blood in recent history.

hayek seems to have slowed down.
She did the right thing resigning so that controversy, due to lib media, would not interfere with State Government.
theharv3 1 year ago
@aruba91961 I might take the deal if I didn’t already have a contract with the people who elected me. If I was an elected representative, I would complete my term and my obligation. Most members of Congress, as much as I dislike many of them, have made and could continue to make far more on the outside. Lucrative deals do not excuse stepping down from office halfway through a single term. Why should I assume she would continue in the Presidency if she got a better deal or took a little heat?
FAHayek89 1 year ago

Remember, Warren Buffet pays less in taxes per year than his secretary!!
bjusticeforever 1 year ago
@bjusticeforever I don't disagree on taxes. I think the debt issue is a national security issue and is so bad that we need to put everything on the table, but my instinct is to protect the vast majority on taxes while the economy is this bad. They all believe that only they can properly tell people how to live their lives. Hopefully, people are starting to get it.

@theharv3 Granddaddy Bush was a collaborator with the Nazi Party...so "the acorn doesn't fall too far from the tree" with his children, etc. When I saw the title of this video I knew it was propaganda time for the progressives. I think Sarah Palin has more guts than most.

I guess that is about as politically correct as she could have put it.

Hpachoju 1 year ago 3
Sorry- The gop could draft a chimp to run against obama and win handily... A chimp could run as an independent and win for that matter. At least the chimp can screech Without a teleprompter.
play2k2000 1 year ago
@play2k2000 Don't think for one minute that the Democrat Party machine isn't going to play every dirty card (including probably race) they hold to plow under any GOP Candidate in 2012. If the Republicans get too cocky thinking the 2012 election will be a slam dunk, they will probably lose. That's why I said we need the STRONGEST candidate we can find. They (the Dems) play a very dirty game.
Even though Obama is ruining our great Country, there are still many out there that just DON'T get it.
Hpachoju 1 year ago 3
@play2k2000 That's what the GOP said in 1994. There are plenty of good potential conservatives out there, but if you run Palin, expect to lose. 37% of the population approve of her, 55% disapprove. If independents alone are sampled, approval increases a whooping 1 point to 38%. Be warned. Run a strong candidate and do the right things in Congress and 2008 is winnable. Be arrogant and you ensure four more years of Barry.
FAHayek89 1 year ago 3

Hpachoju 1 year ago 3
@Hpachoju I don't think so. There is a lot you don't know about the Bush's apparently. They are into the Global Govt and gave rise to the communist Obuma. As well as many other presidents before. Ronald Reagan was one who didn't seem to go along with that...hence the attempt on his life.
getsmart500 1 year ago
@getsmart500 The attempt on Ronald Reagan's life had nothing to do with Politics. Hinkely (the shooter) was a loon who was crazed over a famous movie star (I think Jody Foster as I recall) and tried to gain her attention by this stupid ridiculous act. You can read up on it if you Google it. And by the way . . . I know a lot about the Bush family. I've studied their history for years. Your Global Govt comment is kind of out there -- don't you think?
Hpachoju 1 year ago
The comments that most bother me were the comments on Sarah Palin's qualifications. Whether she finished a complete term as governor is immaterial. What she did or caused to be done is very significant. She cleaned up a cesspool of political corruption in Alaska. Obama served two years as a senator and contributed nothing but mayhem. And even now the jury is out questioning if he is in fact an American Citizen. Its too bad so many people drank the cool-aide.
MegaBoricua72 1 year ago
@MegaBoricua72 It is immaterial that someone made in implicit contract to the electorate to represent them for four years, then choose not to do so because the heat was too hot and alternative was more lucrative? That sounds like a lack of public service and fortitude. What it then be OK if she resigned as President after she pushed a few bills through Congress?
Of course, if you are a birther, then there is not point in trying to have a rational discussion.
FAHayek89 1 year ago 18
@FAHayek89 What you libs will never get is that Obuma and gang sent numerous 'empty' lawsuits at Palin...rather than tie up the state's resources and her life with this wicked nonsense...she did a smart thing and quit her job...and has been kicking Obuma's and the liberal progressive's tail ever since. If you were not such a sniveling little worm 89, you would get that!
getsmart500 1 year ago
@getsmart500 So if you don't back Palin, you're a lib, or a RINO. So you're like the LIB'S, Freedom of speech, if it fit's your agenda, or if you agree. If you disagree, you need to be censored. Funny, I'm conservative, yet I don't support Palin! Who endorsed the biggest RINO! Juan Mccain was endorsed by Palin!

@scottpasinski Hmm...Babs didn't hold office. True. Sarah did. Then again, Sarah couldn't even complete a single term in that office. I'm not sure holding office should be a criterion to speak for a Palin supporter.

FAHayek89 1 year ago 3
@FAHayek89 Perhaps it might be a more difficult situation if Hayek told what they did stand for instead of merely being a critic of the world.
Monday night football Quarterbacks are a dime a dozen and at least Dennis Miller said funny things.
You offer only criticism. Geez 4 yr olds can criticize, yet they haven't a bloody thing to offer.
What is proposed to a world that can shape it isn't it's sarcasm but it's introspection.

Conspiracy theorist generally fall into two groups:
1. People too lazy to get involved in the system who instead find it easier to make conspiracy excuses for why they couldn’t do anything anyway.
2. People who need an excuse to explain why their absurd ideas are rejected.

Really.
chaozengine 1 year ago
LOL at Palin being "we the people"... her asking price is $75,000 (min) for a speaking engagement. That's not even one day's work. How much does she donate?
Ya know, I'm as Liberal (which is derived from "liberty" kids) as you can get. Hated Bush One and Bush Two. Honestly, never had a problem with Barbara Bush though. She shot from the hip (like her brat) - but with BRAINS.
chaozengine 1 year ago
Of course, these elitist establishment republicans do not like Palin. She is one of WE THE PEOPLE and they are not. The bushs and other one worlders believe we are not capable of running the country. Look how these supposedly learned have screwed America up.
radkahn 1 year ago
That's BS to the umph degree, they've been calling Repbublicans dumb since Eisenhower....and people still fall for it.
Name one prominent Republican they didn't try that tactic on? Probably some RINO that doesn't threaten them.
Plzzzr 1 year ago
@Plzzzr Really? People thought that William F. Buckley and Russell Kirk were "dumb?" People called Frank Meyer and Senator Taft dumb? F.A. Hayek and Milton Friedman were called dumb? A lot of people on the left hate Scalia, but I haven't heard many call him dumb. Or were they too liberal?
Of course, they could all have named a newspaper or magazine or two that they read. They all knew that Africa was a continent, not a country.
Calling Palin unqualified hardly makes one a RINO.
FAHayek89 1 year ago
@FAHayek89 And I almost forgot. Lest the note on Africa be interpreted to imply that her ignorance was limited to foreign policy, when asked, she could not name a single Supreme Court decision that she disagreed with. Would it at least be too much to expect her to have studied the branches of our own government?
FAHayek89 1 year ago
At least she was being honest, now i'd like to see Ms. Palin "TWEET" about this... but she won't
EdwardP88 1 year ago 14
@EdwardP88 Why should Palin tweet about it? She owes this snipey clueless former wife of a president NOTHING. Palin was a successful governor of one of the most important states in the union and has proven herself. The only thing Barbara Bush ever ran is her mouth. She needs to shut up.
victoriabenn 1 year ago
@victoriabenn You are aware, of course, that she could not finish a single term as governor of the 4th smallest state in the Union in terms of population. (Charlotte, NC, Columbus, OH, and Fort Worth, TX are larger than Alaska.) How exactly does that qualify as "most important" or "successful?"
FAHayek89 1 year ago 2
@FAHayek89 OMG with all due respect that is so lame I won't waste my time on it. And you never mentioned what Barbara Bush ran except her mouth?
victoriabenn 1 year ago
You don’t need qualifications to “run your mouth.” Anyone has a right to express an opinion. Personal background has no bearing on the logic of an argument.
Qualifications and background matter in holding office. Palin made a commitment to the people of Alaska . She violated her obligation because it didn’t meet her personal goals and because she realized that she could make more on the circuit. Quitting after half a term isn’t success. It is selfish and reveals deep character flaws.
