I was never a diehard fan of GH but, I do remember this rivalry. Great acting and writing. Curious as to who was headwriting the show at the time?

Gene Palumbo was. He brought us the great storylines of the back from the dead of Frisco/Felicia/Colton Duke testifying against the mob, going into hiding while Anna stops at nothing to convict the Jerome's, little Tommy Hardy's paternity, Tony and Bobbie falling in love, Alan's mid-life crisis getting involved with Lucy Coe. I can understand you not being a diehard GH fan NOW, but 15-20 years ago, this show was on fire. I guess the magic had to die sometime. All good things come to an end...

Thanks. True, 15-20 yrs ago, I had friends that LOVED GH.  I was always a Guiding Light fan, and they came on opposite each other.

Thank you so much for post more of Olivia and ANNA they are my favorites..If they didnt win An award for their acting they should have. They are both GREAT...Love when Olivia said I'm callin your BLUFF...And that Song was a KILLER...She really know how to break up two love birds I see...

The funny thing was Olivia was never successful at luring away Duke. He just stood by her side...regretfully because she lied to him that she was carrying his baby too! Finola and Tonja rocked the whole show! Both actresses are still talented(and beautiful 20 years later, almost 50 mind you) Tonja runs a successful entertainment industry, it's true I read it in a mag(she did appear on OLTL in Jan. 08) Finola has hosted a fashion show for years but don't know if that's still on air.
