Just a little word to the wise...I couldn't quite understand the braid any better because you are taking 8 strands of the same color and trying to show a 4-strand round braid. How about different colored strands? How about 4 strands for a 4-strand braid. You did a great job by calling out the numbers the strands were and what they become with each move but same color is a little confusing. No offense because you did better than most explaining....lol...but I am still lost...

make a template on a bristol board like paper get a leather chamoi from walmart or if your canadian from canadian tire i found simonz synthetic is just as good have a needle and some spider fishing line ready get a thimble ( youll need it) pinch the flap over the split stitch....
