sorry for being a snot but i was upset when i saw this today..especially because i have been dealing with a situation like this...im glad he is better..oh & don't eat like that in public..lol i had to be a snot again ;)
Just to update everyone on Jax's progress..his Sandifer's is now gone he is 2 today and doing well! He has learned to walk very well now and still has a few problems with his arm and feet. He attends pt therapy regularly but is doing great. He shows no more signs of Sandifers or GERD :)
WHY ARE YOU FEEDING HIM SO FAST? do you eat like that? i know i don't stuff a spoon in my mouth as fast as you are doing to this child..he barely has time to swallow

@TOMMYMARIA2 yes you are correct I was feeding him to fast. I didnt know at the time when I was feeding him..he use to grunt cause I wasnt feeding him fast enough and his food was very thick because of his GERD which made it harder to feed. So you are correct on feeding...now as for being such a snot..I do eat like that, I have 5 children and I'm lucky if I get to eat my food warm...I learned my lesson with my son and he is better if you care to know..everyone makes mistakes u learn from them!
Okay so at 3:39 you ask the other person if "they got that on Jax" and the other person says "mmm hmm" and Jax hears that and looks over, well a baby having seizures wouldn't do that because they lose consciousness for a short period of tiem. About the weird twitches, he might have something called Benign Myoclonus of Infancy, which something he'd grow out of and has no neurological basis.
So he has had an EEG done? I think all babies with Sandifer like episodes get EEG's to rule out seizures. My son, who is 9.5 mos, has Sandifer's and only has episodes when lying on his back after eating. Your son is very cute:)
yes he has had eeg and mri done no seizure shown on eeg and mri the neroligist said looked ok he has the episodes sitting up and all threw out the day and now he has a new kind of twitch that he didnt have before kindof weird
He has seen the neurologist, he has been confirmed with Sandifer's now they gave him meds, but still has some twitches. Most of them happen during eating or afterwards.

I agree with the person above...My daughter's looked like your son's...She had sandifer's but also had 3 eeg's to rule out seizures.

He was confirmed to have sandifer's they gave him med. that seems to help but still has weird twiches sometimes.

It could be Sandifer's but I would have him see a neurologist to rule out Infantile Spasms as well. Does he only do it while eating?
