  • What is the maneuver called at 1.20? Must have taken some serious horsepower or is it camera angle when the aircraft appears to hang in the air for a good 5 seconds...?

  • He isn't the best aerobatic pilot! Very much do the same. But higher... That's very illegal in Germany. In the US i don't know

  • Dammm he is good :)

  • Some of these move can push atleast 7-8 hd

  • my hero

  • Without a doubt, best Pitts demo that I've seen in my rookie 30 years of aviating; hands down, the best. Didn't realize that he died, until I read some of the comments.

  • God I love it when they crash these, the impact with the fire are my favs.

  • wowwwwww serious skills.......

  • what kind of g's do you think this guy is pulling? unbelievable nonetheless.

  • jim leroy one of the best areobatic pilots ever came in history .... mercy be upon him

  • Sadly, I have to admit that this is the very first time I've ever had the pleasure to watch this guy fly....I have heard of his incredible flying abilities with this equally incredible plane...but, only now...got to see him...wish I could of seen him "live". There is no question in watching him, that he and the Pitts are One and the same!! UNBELIEVABLE !! Forgive me for asking...but, how did he meet his demise & when ??

  • Jim was a friend of mine. He used to have the hanger next to me in California and after a day of flying he would come over and visit. He had a refrigerator in his hanger and he usually supplied the refreshments. He was a lot fun with a great attitude. I watched him grow as an aerobatic pilot on his road to his dream...to go pro.. He took me up one day in a two place Pitts...i didn't last too long and stopped before I vomited in the very expensive airplane. I miss him.

  • @rickbennettart1 Sir, could you answer my comment I just posted in the comment box for me....if you wouldn't mind ?? I would appreciate it. Thank You for your time.

  • WoW!!! AWESOME

  • Damn This GUY is smoking WEEED!!! look at that smoke

  • To quote on of the best pilots I know..

"If you're going to show off - don't fuck it up!"

  • R.I.P Jim Leroy He was the best i talk to one of his friends and his wife they say they miss him

  • R.I.P Jim Leroy , in memory

  • the power to weight ratio is amazing on this little beauty, makes them snap rolls look soooo easy :P

  • dangerous cowboy.None of his rolls are properly co-ordianted,all his exicution is sloppy and made up on the spot. This guy is gonna kill himself very soon

  • @rastorry

Son,Jim flew the S2 like an extension of his own body. Few men have ever pushed an airframe so close to it's thresholds and kept in in one piece. He's one of the most precise pilots I've ever seen in my life. The very fact that you don't know who he was tells me you need to go back to your flight sim and post CG videos. Nothing LeRoy did was "made up on the spot". The man was not only an incredible pilot, he was a Marine.

  • @funkyzero And he's dead now too.

    There are Old Pilots

    There are Bold pilots

There are no Old Bold Pilots.

I think you'd do well to consider the ironic accuracy of rastorry's comments

  • That plane sure does have alot of power.

  • That was awesome. No other words to describe this level of talent!

  • I'm flying this plane in 2 hours!

  • i whish i could of saw 1 of his Airshowes

  • I LOVE the PITTS! And that guy is SO good at flying it! : )

  • Simply beautiful.

  • no doubt he is the best

  • @alqewany4u

    he's dead..

  • when your the best you stay alive

  • @supercor77 fuck you!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • this guy must get bored when driving a car

  • I think Sean D. Turcker is better. Because he's still alive

  • Better than Sean Tucker?

  • jim simply was...and simply is ...THE BEST

  • awesome piloting... rip Jim..

  • you can only fly like that for so long before it will bite you to bad he flew that thing hard

  • he wasnt killed in that exact aircraft

  • A true testament to the love, pursuit and perfection of a dream realized

  • He was only 46 yrs old when he died at an air show in Ohio. Survived by his wife & son. He was a former US Marine Scout/Sniper. He had a degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace engineering. Smart, talented, fearless, great showman . . . what a loss.

  • Rest in Peace.. Jimmy..
