this is the intro to the first season, but only after we find out that boomer is a cylon. Definitely not the intro to the mini series. it changed a little each season, even each half season (beginning of season 4 they showed the intro, but the second half they showed no intro at all)

Sharon was not revealed until the end of the miniseries, very last episode so it was not the intro for the miniseries.

Thing about cyborg is it is put as man against machine when really man is machine.Created through a creator or evolution, the ultimate machine among all the other biological machines, micro or macro.(that we know/) If a war starts in the future man and cyborg will fight on both sides.Some man machines will see it as a natural progression and others will want to limit it. For the progressors it won't matter if it is extensions of humankind or A.I. we create. Which will be the next level.

man i think that battlestar galactica is the sci-fi show set in space that has the least amount of space fighting, man this really resolves mainly arounbd the storyline and the characters i like it

in the old one,the cylons were made by a reptilian race wich found out that the normal human for is more practical,and they made uber humans (aka Robots).

I have to agree, the season 3 one isn't that thrilling. I liked the scene from season 2's intro where you see a cylon head closeup and how their hands unfold, that had style.

This intro is terrific, gives me chills sometimes. But seriously, season 2's is way lamer, and season 3's is just a disaster. The shots aren't even interesting ones. And "and they have a plan" is really weak.

I agree, because during season 2.5 before Hera was born, "And they have a plan" was alright but now they still use it, and it's annoying, they should have added the "Some are programmed to think they are human" following the Sleeper Sharon "Boomer" on the basestar saying "I'm not a cylon!" before "There are many copies."

Yeah I hear ya. I even tried sending them some comments on their myspace page.. and they never got acepted. But in the shows defence I will say they are a helluva lot better than the new Doctor Who or the SG1 flaver of the month..
